I know you guys completed the Pankration trio already, so I want to ask you a question. I misjudged the difficulty of this challenge and it scales very bad from Hardcore to Insanity; it's doable (with great difficulty) but no fun at all. So I'll be switching the Insanity map to Ghost. For the sake of uniformity, I'd like to have it switched for the hardcore version as well, but you guys already completed it.  Since I don't want to reward your efforts with a metaphorical slap in the face, I want to ask you which would you prefer:

- we switch the map for Hardcore as well and you complete it again on Ghost

- we switch the map for Hardcore but we keep your entry in the HoF

- we keep the map for Hardcore and switch it only for Insanity

 

I would like to thank you in advance for your feedback and apologize for the inconvenience. I'm trying to make this series the best it can be, yet among 39 challenges it's sometimes easy to lose focus and misjudge one or another aspect of it.

My opinion:

Sure, it's your challenge and if you think switching the map to Ghost will make it better, then go ahead, I don't think just because of 3 people, you should be forced to have your challenge in a state that you aren't satisfied with.

And no problem, we are having lots of fun with your challenges, and I personally wouldn't mind redoing it. Keeping our old entry wouldn't be fair to others doing the challenge, so:

+1 for option 1.

I tried this once with a more traditional build for this kit (i.e. more novacentric, also the incendiary rounds) but time was 30:xx and it frankly felt a bit derp (granted, I also got devices in that run and the World's Most Interesting Escort) then got curious as to whether forgetting that I was a novaguard, planting my feet on the ground and sabering everything coupled with occasional shockwave stagger, BC to keep up the weapon damage buff and nova for iframes was the way to go simply for efficiency, if not necessarily maximum fun.  

 

final build was 6/6/3/5/6, used AP ammo III/CM III/Assault Loadout

Finally! The amount of bad rng I had with this one is unbelievable. Targets and devices and more targets and more devices, every single time!  Well, ok, there was that one time when I had pizza on wave 10 but I managed to botch it.  But that was one game in dozens - till this one. Pizza, pizza, escort, profit!

Not particularly looking forward to even more Cerberus on Tier 6, but it'll be good to get out in the open after so much Glacier.

Not really, I tried to have a balanced spread of enemies, maps and player kits in each type of challenge (solo, duo, trio), but I derped a bit when arranging them chronologically. Plus, I still wasn't clear on the concepts for some characters in the beginning first weeks, so I picked the "safe" ones, which skewed the balance towards Reapers and Collectors a bit. Once the second half of the series is out, you'll see that every faction is encountered about as much as any other.

Just wanted to see if I could shave some time off this one too. That I managed, but otherwise it was surely the crappiest solo I submitted to date. It was like, what, I can't just stand in the middle of the room and shoot at random and not be killed? Huh!

The other challenge I was trying to do was N7 II, where I kept getting targets and had trouble either switching the target or isolating the Primes. Currently laying in bed asking what I did to deserve this.
