Has anyone tried the Hazmat training solo yet?

 

I understad the idea, it`s lolcainmines ftw. And i thought this would be smooth sailing, but after 3 tries it turns out it`s really really hard for me.

 

The combination of the hazard swarm and the currier needing ammo all the time = I have to move around all the time, making the spawns weird, and the "bait them into the mines" plan not work very well. if I just spam mines, i run out too fast.

 

Even with full fitness and cm4 the swarm takes half my shields, nemesisesesses gates me, i`m dead from something. Hold the line, the swarm gates, tries to move, dead from something.

 

Anyone got some good tips on how to not be a superscrub trying the superscrub solo?

I guessed Warp Ammo for this challenge; I feel I guessed right, though it was annoying to see clear headshots register as power kills. I ran a lot in this challenge, a lot more than I should've. I also avoided a clear sync because Blade Armor (I think it was on wave 8 in the rearmost trailer) and the Banshee then proceeded to warp ball me in the face at point blank range. Oh well! I'll take it.

doing the first tier of neuchatel on plat. That was smooth this time. And I just cleared W10 with 2 close missiles, one for the 2 banshees, one for 2 primes and  some mooks, when i got instagrab by a phantom. WTF, i just fired 2 missiles on the spot, was moving ahead,  she could nt have respawn, and got me from behind without any first swing, direct cutip through the butt ....

That's a shame. Maybe if you tell us what sort of trouble you're having someone here can be of help? Several people with plenty recording experience around, if nothing else someone might recommend different software from what you're using.

Extended magazine, incendiary IV, aim for the head - nothing to it. (I'm a scrub who still doesn't know whether an armor piercing mod is a must or not, I believe I went with the plain high caliber barrel.) Don't think you can fry a plat prime much faster than 3-4 clips anyway, except with some infiltrators and/or cheesable powers. Try again, obviously you were doing just fine.

i loose smtg like 30-40 % damage at 30 fps, and that is without the incendiary bug which far more impressive at 60 fps too

Not more than that ? A 60 fps incendiary Reegar can two clips an Atlas on a kroguard. I've read recently that the damage loss being non-linear, you loose more than 100% damage at 30 fps. Maybe it was a comparison between PC and consoles, not between PCs, I don't know.

I use Bandicam.It's a great program,light,smal size,can record 4k resolution. Recently after starting the program the sound disapears as a whole  - no system sound , no music, no game sound.

let s quote anno's test :

120 FPS; reegar consistently burned through 10 bars of shield and 7 bars of armour in one clip, with little to no variance.

60 FPS; reegar burned through 10 bars of shield and 5 bars of armour in one clip, with little to no variance.

30 FPS: Reegar burned through 9 bars of shield in one clip, again with no variance.

15 FPS: Reegar burned through a measly 2 bars of shield in a single clip.

Same deal with no incendiary ammo.

Platinum atlas.

120 FPS: atlas lost 10 bars of shield and 1 bar of armour to a single reegar clip

60 fps: atlas lost 10 bars of shield

30 fps: atlas lost 9 bars of shield

15 fps: atlas lost 2 bars of shield

My experience - with Kroguard, I don't know what those tests were done with - is that one clip can strip the entire shield of a platinum prime, but it barely touches armor, which then takes another 1-2 clips or thereabouts. My framerate varies between 50 and 60 most of the time, but then, I'm not the most exemplary player.
