doing the first tier of neuchatel on plat. That was smooth this time. And I just cleared W10 with 2 close missiles, one for the 2 banshees, one for 2 primes and  some mooks, when i got instagrab by a phantom. WTF, i just fired 2 missiles on the spot, was moving ahead,  she could nt have respawn, and got me from behind without any first swing, direct cutip through the butt ....

 

My reegar suck, i ll move to tier 2. (i need 3 to 4 clips for a prime)

Leave that FPS thing.Just use HVB and spare thermal clip.Watch for banshees,phantoms aren't problem and with a little luck with objectives you will be fine..Krogan vanaguard is deathless.

My spawn nuking was horrific in this game. RNG smiled on me pretty good though, even with the wave 10 escort walking me through a majority of the spawn, it was a breeze to kite the crabs around so I could have them behind me. Then since I didn't get any spawns to nuke aside from the fails on wave 5 & 9, I had 4 left to clear the path and clean up after the escort. Will post video later. 

 

Also, not looking forward to Hazmat Training; never tried Cain Mine spam.

My experience - with Kroguard, I don't know what those tests were done with - is that one clip can strip the entire shield of a platinum prime, but it barely touches armor, which then takes another 1-2 clips or thereabouts. My framerate varies between 50 and 60 most of the time, but then, I'm not the most exemplary player.

That's inferior to what Annomander reported. It looks like your PC struggles to register all the bullets...

yeah, yeah i was just pissed off. HVB + spare ammo. I sure i would kite Twice less at 60 fps.
As much as i got used to gold BS, i must say Plat BS is still far more annoying to me, even more at wave 10 closure. Banshees caught me twice by wall jumping before that.

you talking about the crusader valkyrie? I did that but was blocked from the lz by the atlas roadblock, with not enough time to run around. Teleport dodge on the valkyrie pls

Kinda what I felt this afternoon about Mordus. Awful wave 1-2 spawns and bad objectives on w3... didn't even bother finishing as every 10 seconds matter for me on that one now... I felt that I should retire forever. And then I realised that this is the only game with the one Holy Venom. And I will try again. And again. And... again.

But it's only a function of frame rate, so unless you are dropping a lot of frames (which should show in FRAPS) it should work the same as any other PC at 60fps.

Well whenever I watch my framerate it's between 50 and 60. I've seen it drop to 45 on Goddess and maybe a few other maps, even 40, but only at moments. Thing is, I can't say I ever kept an eye on it throughout an entire game, so perhaps I actually average below 50 and don't know it.

 

And it's not just the framerate, right, can't be. I didn't bother reading that entire thread with the tests, but if they were done with, say, AIU, then of course I won't be able to reproduce that with my kroguard. Also people who can be depended on to consistently deliver headshots will have much better results than the average scrub that I am.

i hope anno did out of soft cover no cloak, no HS test , but who knows. Maybe he had HVB and U use HCB. I m not even sure what i used.
Anyway i dont get why he s got only the shield without incy rounds at 60fps and the shield + half the armor with inci rounds... And not sure how the game decide if reegar go through RHA cover or not. I ll try to watch for it more.

Have you tried using Razer Cortex to squeeze some extra FPS out of your rig? On my crappy old Windows 7 laptop it got me about an extra 5 fps. Also, a tip - in case you don't already do this - is to set FRAPS to update the display once per second. That makes it easier to get an idea of how your framerate varies.

 

I don't use FRAPS, but I may be able to get my thingy (MSI Afterburner) to make a plot that I can check out later.

(And yet it runs The Witcher 3 just fine. Biovar pls.) A few weeks back my CPU fan died a very quiet, inconspicuous death and everything got clocked down automatically to save the hardware from spontaneous combustion. Anyway, I only noticed any of it because suddenly ME3 started feeling very slow and laggy, and when I checked the framerate I saw it was 30 and below - with both the CPU and GPU running at ~1/8 capacity. Point being, I don't think I could tell the difference between 50 and 60 FPS without seeing the numbers, and Reegar certainly doesn't feel gimped as it is, so.
