Yeah, I wanted to take that too but I just never remembered it in time, it only occurred to me when I was already playing, and then it didn't seem a good enough reason to quit.

 

And yes, definitely go for it! It's a nicely paced challenge, good map, you're equipped to handle phantoms and pretty much everything else, the only trick is to not get shot too much (and draw decent objectives).

I had to accept I couldn't do it with the Mattock, and find a way to make the Mantis work. I owe a huge thank you to MuahMuah: your most recent video of this challenge was instrumental!

Might need something of a break before seriously attempting 7.I, though the idea of being done with cerberus in this series is quite appealing

Take GS then. It's not like you won't have any nukes without the AC, and w9 can be done reasonably quickly even without nuking, I think, because all the goons. You could do 1 or 2 on w5, 2 or 3 on w8 and still have 2 for w10.

Wave 9 is so tedious with a single shot weapon. Had to use my last 2 missiles on wave 10 before the objective was done cause the flashlights and the Ravagers were spread all over the map and the toaster in my way which I nuked was respawned almost in the same position. Cleaning up thereafter took forever.

2 days of unmitigated rage until I got this one done. I must have cleared every device and killed every target in the Attican Traverse only to lose most of my consumables on wave 8 with the double f*cking toasters. One time the motherf*ckers cost me 5 f*cking gels until I could get out of the f*cking stunlock. You all can guess what followed next... Since I am a slow learner, it's only on the last few attempts that I rationed the nukes the following way - 4 on 8, 1 on 10 and 1 for emergencies on 11, cause it has once again double %^&(&*(_)&*_&#$%&@@! Primes. I was sorely tempted to use one each time the escort made me cross the courtyard on waves 3 and 6 but I sacrificed some gels and ops-packs instead.

 

Now it's back to f*cking Hydra and the motherf*cking toasters. And here I was hoping to reduce the occurrence of profanities in my speech....

did a different build this time, went for max biotic orbs damage and debuff which of course made my scimitar roughly 2% more effective. mostly though objectives were unironically Good this round and while I derped at killstreaks, got a lot of double brute + double banshee nukes. escort x area hack x area hack (non-cheesed for the last one cuz that LZ hack defeated me but still, better than targets) 

 

i think this gets me into the 8 hour club but not sure because math = hard.

I've been lurking here for a long, long time, trying to determine what would be an easy solo for my first entry into this awesome thread, which would be specially catered to my particular set of "skills" in this game (dying a lot and hiding). I found this, but I didn't even realize the Neufchatel series existed! I might tackle those next.

Also, I have to say, I mostly solo in this game since I've got bad DSL internet not meant for online gaming and often get to thinking I am pretty good at it, but discovering this thread, and seeing the ridiculous solos the rest of you submit... I'm basically in awe (and maybe a perpetual state of epeen shrinkage)!

I saw this was necessary since there were some soloists who had earned many difficult, platinum level titles and had not done the traditional route to a personal title (completing all of the original weekly 1 and weekly 2 solos on gold, including bonuses). The new additional route is by earning 5 of the many titles that can be earned through this thread (as listed on N7 officer page and listed below).

 

Note: earning 5 titles will also grant officer status regardless of whether they include the N7 series or original weeklies.
