I think, barring an occasional PUG, I will take a break from ME3MP for a little while. For one, I am a bit burnt out on challenges, and for another, I am a level below the best in the business, so a little sabbatical might help me approach things with a fresh perspective and improve myself.

 

I'll probably replay ME1 and ME2 a few more times.

Wow, Pres, that's just lovely. The somber theme, the blues in the pictures... This is surely the prettiest challenge set you've made so far. Not sure I'll sing the same tune when I try for some of the titles, but for now... yeah. Just lovely.

Thank you smehur. It was a fun series to put together. I knew It had to be a series involving sub-20 times, so I had to tie in some sort of time-related lore and I've always meant to make a series based on Noveria. The description of Noveria describes the planet as nearly uninhabitable, and I figured maybe there is one particular spot that is truly uninhabitable. I really enjoyed searching for the images for the achievements and challenges. The idea for the title came from searching a little about anomalies and stumbling upon Gordian knots which I thought could work. I think having recently seen the movie interstellar and having been completely blown away by it may have factored into this challenge thematically as well

 

I actually pooled together all the sub-20 runs and created a bit of a difficulty scale and then tried to come up with challenges that we haven't really seen based on variations from the challenges that would be difficult but sub-20 able. Anyway, I probably put too much effort into it, but if it makes for a fun event then why not! Hopefully not everyone feels that they have to go sub-100 to post!

 

Also, congratulations tupari! Very impressive survival with 15 seconds to spare! I'm glad to see that it is in fact achievable. phew.

- Also, just a heads up, although only one person can hold the title of Lodestar, if you do obtain it, I can't take away that title from you and it will be mentioned in a "former Lodestar" list.. cough Tupari cough... Edit: maybe I'll have to have a designation in front of it to signify "former" any ideas??

- Congratulations x3lander on being only the third person to complete the outlier series! I think by definition that makes you one of the elite soloists around these parts. But a break to prevent burnout is never a bad idea! Cheers, enjoy relaxing playthroughs of ME1 and ME2!

I intend to put my valiant effort into this as well Though I am taking a bit of a break from soloing, some of the ones I am attempting are proving difficult to the point of frustration, and some distance is in order.

- With the very impressive total time of just over 70 mins for Gordian Hour on Insanity, Tupari claims the record for (insanity) and the title for Lodestar is up for grabs once more! Very impressive runs. You also are the second person to earn the achievement "Gordian Paradox" for Surviving both hardcore and insanity sets in less than 100 mins!

- Nightslasher sets a very very quick pace for Stage 3 insanity as well!

- DJ39H enters the Gordian hour with an impressive first run!
