Happy 3rd birthday challenge thread! And as others have said, thanks to everyone here for making it a fun community, and especially to Prestacious for sticking with it for so long!

 

I'd hoped to post the Gordian hour, but I'm having issues with stage 3, including excess numbers of devices (grumble grumble) and I'm just not that good with the justicar.

 

I decided to try these to see how close I could get to 20 min, since I've never got close in the past (maybe 23 was the closest)

 

1, Denial.27:49 - dafyddr (315 708 pts)  

Sorry about the phone pic, I'd got ME3 setup wrong (not windowed mode). This one was fun, but I don't like the pesky double banshees. Hack (glitched), hack (not glitched successfully), targets (which were a PITA, bc I only had 1 missile left ). Still not too bad 

 

2. Anger 20:15 - dafyddr (299 521 pts)

Woohoo! My fastest ever! lots of dakka, and the only good collector is dead collector . 3rd time was the charm as I kept on getting swarmed by abombs while trying to do devices. Device, targets, targets

 

3. Bargaining. Apparently I'm not a business man I'll try again, and maybe just go slow.

 

4. Depression. 38:18 - dafyddr (287 211 pts)

This was actually the first one I did, because what can go wrong with a GI- black widow solo? (cough). Whose idea was it to do a sniping challenge against the stagger-y-est faction on the most staggery map? I think I didn't get the 20 headshot medal until wave 6 or 7! Not re-doing this. Hack / hack/ targets. Did not glitch hacks successfully.

 

5. Acceptance. 19:06 - dafyddr (267 578 pts)

Turian!!   I sacrificed 100 asari virgins to the Turian goddess Technoturiana, and was rewarded. Gold headshot medal by either end of wave 2 or sometime in wave 3. devices / targets/ pizza. My devices fell all in one clockwise sweep and it was glorious!

- Incredible record setting run for Stage 5 - Acceptance dafyddr! 

- TechnoTurian regains a hold of Lodestar after losing the title for just an instant with some great runs by MuahMuah. Those times are truly insane!

- Great to see you back Clyde and excellent runs in the Gordian Hour!

- Congrats Frank and Hamletic on completing the Tiers as a duo team and cutting total times by a large margin!

Good point. I'm still not sure what to do with those. You guys have gone and broken the system.  I may add a separate category in the sub-20 list for those pseudo-mythical sub-20 plat runs.

Looks like it takes some level of dedication to keep that thread going, appreciate it. So can I put "N7" beside my nickname now that I've earned something or is it too soon ?

 

On a serious note, for the 7 Tiers of Neufchatel, Tier 4. any body got a suggestion for an AIU Venom build against Cerberus on Glacier (Platinum) ? I'm actually more interested in what kind of rounds would be the most efficient but I'd be curious to see what builds you guys would suggest.

I used warp ammo but you could use disrutor as well.That challenge is not challenge at all.Just point the gun and shot.This character is too overpowered especially with shotgun.

Thank you for your input. I never play the AIU, like NEVER, and I've only played a bit of venom very recently so this run felt particularly strange.  I just did the match with incendiary rounds, I thought whenever in doubt, burn them all. It was a long match, about 40 minutes but I my defense I didn't know what I was doing and I didn't use Armored Compartments. Anyway, only 3 more runs to go !

I noticed in the sub-20 HOF a triple techno turian combo for gordian stage 4 depression happened

@LightRobot, If you're interested in earning a very nice "N7" logo and the associated Officer status, You'll have to complete the N7 challenge series on Hardcore If you dare!

 

Also, I thought I would post the myriad of possible titles you can then earn once you've obtained Officer status... Cause I heard you like titles (Where's AW_FC when you need him). This Legend is listed at the bottom of the N7 officer page. What's been most fun about this thread is seeing people progress through the series and see times drastically improved. All the officers have definitely earned their titles as far as soloing goes and many have gone beyond to earn many of the titles. Enjoy! And anyone else interested is also welcome to join the madness!

Oh wow, so many things, I'll never have enough time to do that, too many challenges to complete. I was kidding about the N7 thing, and I don't want to be an officer, I belong in the heart of the fight with the other grunts. Thanks for the info anyway !

WTF, Utube really wants my phone number or i wont be able to publish a video ...No way i give my personal phone number  to google, they ****** me off allready enough. Is that a new thing ? Did u guys gave it ?

Maybe i can find some temporary  phone number forwarding text messages somewhere.

I'm fairly certain I never gave my phone number to youtube or any other website except for my bank account. I remember Google+ asking for a phone number but not youtube. Is it asking it when you try to uplaod or right before you publish ?

Youtube asks you for a phone number when you create new channel.
