I've done this one a couple of times before with really bad objectives giving me times right above 30 min, didn't want to post it in this thread until I managed to get an ok time.

So tonight I went into try hard mode and got really lucky with the objectives on my first try - 10 WS was a nice bonus.

That challenge is not challenge at all.

 

Speak for yourself, please. Some of us scrubs struggled with it just as much as with any other platinum solo, especially on Glacier. AIU has her tricks but she's squishy as hell, and Venom is not all that godly in unaccustomed hands.

 

Also, on a personal note, when someone asks for help or advice with some task, saying 'what are you talking about, there's nothing easier' is one of the most unhelpful things you can say. It comes across as condescending even though you probably don't mean it that way. (Says the most notoriously oversensitive poster in the thread.)

I was actually surprised at how squishy she is. I remembered her from the very beginning when she was introduced and I had this memory of her being really tanky. I think I might have gotten the idea because playing with PUG implies much less aggro, especially with TC and I was probably in awe at the repair matrix thing.

 

So yeah, this solo didn't feel to hard, but definitely not easy either. The Repair Matrix allowed me to never have to use any gels which is always good.

Could've been that you used her before the nerf. When the AIU was first introduced, she was pretty broken from what I understand. I didn't unlock her until after that, which is why my solo mastery wasn't done for so long

Oh that could be it, I remember bringing her for the first time on a Platinum PUG against Collectors on Hydra with an Incendiary IV Reegar and thinking : Good Lord, that kit is actually immortal, who's gonna stop me ? Collectors didn't

Didn't know that you are so sensitive so my apologies.In fact i gave him an advice.Just in my opinion challenge with invisible,fast character with a tons of bonus damage especially with shotgun shouldn't be a pbroblem for BSN ers.You and LightRobot both are very good players.In every case very very far from "scrubs".

Sure, I probably wouldn't find it hard nowadays, after something like 30 completed platinum solos. And LightRobot doesn't seem to be a beginner soloist either. But I assure you that a majority of BSNers, no matter how skilled in team games, do not solo on a regular basis, and would struggle even with the easiest challenges in this thread on platinum. Soloing is quite different from everything else in this game and until one gets used to it, it's hard even with the most resilient kits.

 

I decided to tell you this because it's not the first time you meet questions of this type with 'there's nothing easier'. Obviously this is true for you, and for several other veterans around here, but it's a completely different experience for the average soloist. Now, whether you care to keep this in mind when you post or not, is of course totally up to you.

I'm fairly certain I never gave my phone number to youtube or any other website except for my bank account. I remember Google+ asking for a phone number but not youtube. Is it asking it when you try to uplaod or right before you publish ?

"your vid is too big to be published as is".

Please register your account or smtg along the verficiation idea. Thats when it asks for my phone.

Maybe thats because my account is with a yahoo mail...

Utube never asked me about a channel though, not sure it s a proper channel, i only uploaded one smaller vid before.

I'm not 100% sure, but I hate being asked for these kind of informations online so much that I think I'd remember it. I created a youtube channel months ago, maybe now you have to give the phone number to create the channel ? I tried looking for the information on my channel and I didn't find it. I didn't give it on my google account either, if I'd given my phone number I should be able to find it and change it so I guess I never did.

 

On the other hand, I think at some point, my smartphone was somehow linked to my google account, probably because I signed in on my smartphone and pc with the same account. So yeah, then there's facebook, youtube, the NSA, Jason Bourne... I think I've been made already.

 

LightRobot seemed enough skilled to handle tier 4.

Okay, I think I need to make something clear, I am in fact the greatest player that ever lived. I didn't want to bring it up because I didn't think it was necessary but what people don't realize is I usually play blindfolded and surrounded by a vicious swarm of deadly hornets. Under normal circumstances, I usually sub 5 on any given platinum solo. 

 

 As a side note... I wonder what the first solo challenge of ME:A will be..

Is there any kind of information on what the multiplayer will be ? Like is it still gonna be a coop game ? coop only ? If that's the case then I'd say we should all try to jump directly into the toughest difficulty right off the fricking bat, like some kind of BSN secret handshake. Then we come back here on BSN and we'd be like :

- So have you tried the multiplayer yet ?

- Yes I have, it was really awesome, I really liked how the --- Sorry, what difficulty did you say it was ?

Congrats on your first vid! I suppose you just couldn't bring yourself to give your phone number to youtube. (They don't abuse it, btw.)

 

It was fun to watch. My favorite moment was at the end of w10, when you wanted to kill an atlas and two banshees with a missile, but they wouldn't come together, so you stood there between them waiting till they killed you. So very, very familiar.
