Yeah but every other wave, you kill 6 Goons and a couple phantoms and the wave is over.  On Extraction they are just non-stop and relentless.  I used 3 rockets on single Dragoons during the last 15 seconds of extraction because they kept respawning below me.

Yeah but the only reason it becomes tricky is really because they are funneling you into an Atlas since their movement speeds are so disparate.  If they all moved somewhat together you could easily just move around in a big circle on Jade and it would not be a big deal.

Ideally you could simply stagger the Dragoons and Phantoms repeatedly to slow their advance, while the Atlases catch up, then fall back a bit and repeat, while making your way around in a circle, but that somewhat depends on the Atlas spawns and the route they take.

Well I tried coma again, had targets with 3 rockets left on wave 10, but couldn't get the atlases to switch. The last target, got the atlas down to 3bars the. Engineer repairs it. Could not get it, so I totally seppuku'd it via phantom. Time was upper 30's, not going to care again the speed run part of it next time.

I might try smooth's no passive build, idk.

In fact, that is exactly what I did for the extraction wave. I used decoy to distract them a little as well. 

@jamesbrown: that is some tough luck! I find that week to be one of the toughest challenges. I did one run with no AR, which was not a great idea. I then did one with no CS, which worked a little better. No passive could be interesting.

Just gave Mordus a couple of tries. Second one was almost successful until I got murdered 14 seconds before extraction, but it was at 50 minutes by then so... meh. I tried the hardcore version thinking that SE and Venom looked to be a pretty awesome setup. Maybe I'll give the regular SI version a try or two.

Been lurking here btw. Gave a few half-hearted attempts with some of the other challenges, but now that I'm getting some URs maxed I'm a little more motivated. Venom is at 7 and Scorpion is at 8 right now (or the other way around??). Even at that level, Venom is pretty insane, but it does take a little getting used to.

Welcome jkthunder. 14 seconds is brutal! I know the feeling.  Yeah, it definitely helps having URs maxed for some of these. I try to leave options for rares too for most of them. Looking forward to seeing a vid one day!

It was the hardest challenge for me, as you can tell by my time!  I failed soo many times,  I just decided to finish any way I could.

Nice job! I hear you, those two challenges were by far the hardest for me. I still haven't been able to get the hardcore London one. Keep getting grabbed late in the game. I may have to slow it down even more and just get it done, it'll still shave 20 mins or so off my total time

@kouzrah: You can do it! Don't give up hope!

Finally got a successfull Now I Am Become Death, Destroyer of Worlds (Hardcore) run I just slowed it down a little more from what I was going for. It wasn't my fastest attempt, but I didn't get grabbed. I also had wave 6 devices in there, including the MaxShine device of horror! I'll upload the vid once Mordus is done!

Here's my Mordus (Hardcore) run. Objectives were Targets>4 devices>4 devices which I think is the reason this seemed so much harder than the insanity challenge. Pretty standard build.

And now my Insanity run for Merely the Weapon. Objectives were 4 devices>4 devices>Pizza, I can't remember the last time I did a solo without getting those damn devices.
The build was just the same as I used for the other version of this challenge, only difference being the weapons.

Retried the Human Soldier last night after I took out the trash and found my Valkyrie. I was really upset seeing that 57 minute run I turned in.

This challenge is tough, but I found a build I really liked. Got to the end of wave eight when the last phantom gooshed me. For me I was flying at barely under 18 minutes! Only had 1 rocket, 2 Gels and 2 TCP's left, though so wave nine would have took a while, but still would have been like a 20 minute improvement. May try later on tonight.
