Wow Wave 10 devices were no joke!!  1, 2 and 4 are the worst on the map and you had to waste a rocket just to finish. Good thing A-bombs can't grab the Volus, Great job!!

I improved my time for the Merely the Weapon Challenge. This was hardcore with valiant and tempest

Also, I wanted to let you know that I have no idea what happened to my volus video but I cannot find it. I can try and redo the challenge if you need me to have a video included.

^ that's too bad! No worries though, it was a bonus challenge and quite an accomplishment, no need to redo. I'll update the hof shortly nice time on "merely the weapon"!

I decided to try out the Shuriken. It was actually quite 'ok'. I thought it would be worse, I did better with the Shuriken than with the Avenger. Avenger fired slower and has a lot less spare ammo and it seemed to be less accurate.

I don't know if I will upload the video... The file size is quite large, maybe I will upload a few exciting moments from the video.

Nice Job Max! You've joined the Volus brotherhood. Elkoss really needs to work on better weapons! Interesting choice, going with the Shuriken. I will re-attempt this challenge tonight.

Can't even say how many times I've tried the Barla. Very difficult challenge. I have the utmost respect for the people who pulled it off. I'll have to take a break from it, seeing as I have no equipment left and even less sanity! I think this is the most difficult challenge I'll ever make though, not to worry. (I'm not sure there is anything harder anyway!)
 
T - 19hrs til week 8 challenge! I promise, no volus!

Oh yes I did it too in 14 minutes without equipment and only using my Volus's stench (you don't really think Voluses need those to prevent spontaneous combustion now do you?)


Just kdding but I would love it if that turned out to be true about how Voluses wear suits and just never shower...

I was at my parents' last week, house sitting while they were away and had some time to do the previous challenges. Did them all in decent times, will upload crappy screenshots later because I couldn't record there.

Still have to do both the Juggy and Volus challenge though.

Sounds good Max. The volus challenge has been frustrating me for a few days now  I'm looking forward to something new in just under 10 hours or so! 

I had a major troll yesterday, when I got devices on the Barla, I get the device down by the ammo near the original entry point. As I'm doing the device, I get taken down by a praetorian. When I use a medigel, I find myself inside the wall, unable to move. 

@luckybullet: That's the mystery of the volus right there. Secret's in those little packs on the volus' suit, I'm sure.

Just got 5 waves survived (actually 6) Sentinal w/ Tempest.  Then just destroyed on 7 with soooo many turrets.  Going to do Insanity first, then try for time with the Novaguard.

You're a beast Hendrix! Nice job. Good point, we don't have a sub 20 yet for any challenge!

@kocka: Nice first attempt! I'm going to use the saber cause it's one of my favorite guns in the game. Then I'll go for speed too with novaguard (hopefully).

Congratulation on this garbage time! Most of us won't get close to it) I on the other hand suck with the Novaguard for real. Nevertheless, I know there are some serious Novaguard specialists out there who can probably do the Challenge in less than 20 mins. Maybe we can lure them out of their preferred hunting grounds of FBGlacier and they show us how it is done.
