Love it!!  Wave 7 is a nightmare with this challenge.  Even after you take out the six dragoons, you will still have to kill 4-5 Atlas/phantoms total all while dodging 2000 turrets in every corner of the map.

I also found out that certain turret locations are glitched during the rain, so they won't explode after 30 seconds unless you deal some sort of damage to them, even if the engineer sets a new turret.  I once saw 7 turrets deployed at the same time!!  Wave eight started and there were still 2 or 3 present that I had to take out  half way through the wave.

Wave 7 sucks. Was doing quite well with my sentinel until wave 7 turrets happened. I had to use 4 medi-gels on that wave and got wiped on wave 8 (sneaky phantoms cost me 2 gels). Those turrets are a nightmare, they seem to be everywhere I go.

^ I actually noticed the turret issue as well in wave 7. For whatever reason, they don't get destroyed after some time, so the wave ended and there were 3 turrets still set up, cornering me into a tiny cubbyhole of space. I've been jonesing to try these again, but haven't been able to play today. Will attempt tmrw!

Lolpeaesstree on this map makes me angry so I'm settling with these. No vid for Saber Hsent because it's over 30 mins and I'm a scrub.

^ Nice job knocking. That sucks about ps3 frustration. That's the first insanity completion so far though, so I'm guessing it's a pretty tough challenge overall (I still haven't attempted insanity myself). Was it similar to the valkyrie one in terms of difficulty and with handling phantoms?

I'd say this one is harder than Blink After Coma for sure. I find White to be easier to move about, plus HSol has Frags and those are great.

I do not want to think about the number of attempts needed to complete this and get reasonable gameplay. I was actually much harder to complete for me than the Barla Von challenge, but somehow the Barla Von victory gave me the strength to return to Thessia one more time.

YAY I did the drell one (and on insanity too)!



Laugh at the time all you want, i'm still absurdly pleased with myself, because it was done 1) on my office computer (yes, i sometimes play ME3MP at work on the sly) with crappy GPU, crappy mouse and uncomfortable controls, 2) on the first try. That being said, I will never be a solo speedrunner.

The objectives were: 1. escort, 2. pizza, 3. devices. Finished devices with maybe 10 seconds to spare, I was sure I was gonna blow it. Whew!

@ dude: Nice job dude (I like that). getting the double challenge completion! Welcome to the HoF!

@ Max, nice job! I'll be able to add you to the completionist board soon I'm sure! I'm looking forward to being able to check out that vid later today. If I were trying to go for a 31 minute time, I'd probably be doing that challenge for a lot longer!

@ avenging: Nicely done! That's a special one, especially if it was your first solo vs collector! And you had devices wave 10 which is always sure to give you a stress ulcer! I should make a separate symbol for getting this done at work. Also, you officially have the best job in the galaxy.

 So, i thought i give it a try with this challenges and i started with the easiest one. Don't know why it took me so long to complete this, really confusing.

Objectives were Targets, Targets and Hack. Got 9 Waves survived, so i easily could hold the line at the hack

^ Nice Job Noeschi! Welcome to the HoF

@avenging: good luck! It's one of the slightly easier challenges, however the insanity is a little deceptive and not that easy. Dying in wave 9 can be frustrating!

Just a general clarification (I updated the OP to reflect this), the 4 gold medals required for this week's and select previous week's insanity challenges are personal gold medals and killstreaks. Full extraction and gold difficulty medals are not included since those are a given. Eg of personal medals are 75 kills, 75 weapon kills, 5 melee kills 20 headshots etc.

i did For Thessia twice now and wiped wave 8 and wave 5 (banshee grab, because i'm an idiot sometimes^^).

Then i tried Indoctrinated and died wave 9.

It seems like i'm unable to complete a solo without a cyclonic -.- But with the Asari, things die so fast with a power amplifier and the turian needs a little more speed.

Will try both later with cyclonics, hope that will work out. If i fail again, i should try some other builds i think

There are a number of different builds that people have used for the different challenges over the past weeks. You can always get some ideas from the other vids. I similarly need a cyclonic for most of these though. I agree, the power amp is just beautiful with the justicar, using it shaved a lot of time off of my run!

Just tried the Hardcore challenge - really, really fun.
Was just a first trial run without missile use and only Lvl II equipment - but I liked it!
Got stabbed at the end of Wave 9.
Will try again. Great stuff.

The Shepard Clone plot thickens and his/her journey gets more difficult with part 2. I'll attempt tonight. I'm glad the insanity challenge is in keeping with the others - insane. Those wave 10 fails are demoralizing though, I know. 

Nice job max, I thought that was your completed time with lvl II consumables. Let's see a sub 20!   What does your build look like?

I think sub 20 is possible, with good missiles, decent objectives. It's a Wraith after all.
Here's my build:

NovaGuard

The classic Half-Blast build. Just had another run, but got devices on 6, so I bled out. Targets are actually a good objective on Wave 6 Cerberus with the NovaGuard. Also tried Cyclonics this time (which I never do on the NovaGuard, but wanted to test it) - and I can safely say: Power Amp is way better.

I got some inspiration watching videos from the old Jedi  Novaguard master Achire. He was the first to solo Platinum with a Novaguard and soloed Gold before the Earth DLC in like 30 mins. If you see his style it is exactely what everyone uses now. Here are some of the old videos... some of them are unlisted so you won't find them in the usual way:
