This insanity challenge sounds extremely hard...
considering that I had such a hard time dealing with Collectors using my SI/Widow when I have to solo few waves...

Those seeker swarms are so hard to hit with widow because of their weird movement. I guess the key would be how effectively kill Scion using widow.. widow seems like 2-3 hit scion when aimed properly through its hump..

Yes, it is my master plan!!!  I will be doing the Insanity challenge tonight, or at least trying, then moving onto the GI.  Right now he is melee specd, which I would use if abombs didn't have all that stupid DOT.

@kocka and cato: I actually did consider making a headshot requirement, but just figured that it was a little easy and most people would nab them no problem. Also, I wanted the hardcore run to be without any other requirements so people can really have fun and go for a quick time.

On the other hand I think the insanity challenge (as Tallgeese mentioned) is really tough as it is, so I didn't add any other medal requirements. I wanted a nice contrast between something relatively "easy" and a substantially tougher one, without making it too crazy.

@ capn: yeah I know what you mean. I don't think I'll go back and redo previous challenges unless I have some free time and just want to give it a go Edit: kocka is forcing me to though

@dida: I'm impressed that you're getting these in first attempts! Great job.

@Prestacious: I should maybe rage quit on devices, but that would be wasted time for me and I know, I can't pull a knocking in any of these. So I just complete them and don't go intentionally for a fast time. :/

Yeah, I do the same unless it's a wave 6 or 10 where I consider it, for the hardcore runs. For the insanity runs I don't really go for time just the completion.

Here's my first attempt at Does This Unit Have A Soul. I'm not sure if I'll be doing the Insanity version or attempting to inprove my time as I started to get serious frame rate drops from wave 2 onwards. Seemed close to freezing a couple of times too when seeker swarms exploded - even though this was my first game of the day. Here's my build and the objectives were Drone>Drone>Targets.

Let me preface this terrible time. 0 gels and 0 OPs by wave 5 (with Survivor Loadout). Just kind of kept playing safe to see how far I could get. 5 waves survived were 6-10!

^ haha hey, insanity completion is insanity completion. Nice. and 5 waves survived with no equipment is actually more impressive. I'll update now

Edit: I'll just post this here now since I'm off to bed. But here is my vid for insanity CAT6 - 20 headshots in wave 1 and an attempted flawless solo until wave 8 duo with a phantom. It should be up and processed in 2.5 hrs.

Unfortunately not Dida. A cloaked prox mine usually left them with about 3 bars of health. It's between Abominations and Seeker Swarms for the title of most annoying enemy in this challenge.

Nice, well done Aaron. What setup did you use for your Geth Engineer? I'm still debating whether I should attempt the challenge or not.

I just used my standard build - I normally use the Saber so the Wido isn't that big of a stretch

I played like crap this game, but I am still sooooo much better than Heroic.  Will probably try to better my time- this was the best challenge so far- keep up the good work Prestacious.
