Most people go for speed and thats totally understandable as I used to as well. I am trying to do all of these flawlessly as I got a few requests from my subs to do every Gold solo that I do as Flawless if possible and make it as a series so I will keep on trying to make them flawless. Its more of a challenge and its cool to do as well. I had a lot of fun with this one.

Yeah, it's definitely a different approach to soloing. I do like the idea and actually tried to do one of the insanity ones flawlessly. It definitely requires patience and strategy. Looking forward to future flawless vids. Great idea on making a series of them.

I took your cue and tried one using the juggernaut (peak 15 challenge) and nearly succeeded (no gels used but used ops and rockets). Love watching your videos, keep'em coming! :happy:

Thats awesome! I had quite a few people tell me this that using the tactics or more of the survivalist approach I have been using lately has helped them out a lot on their solo's. Hey its always great to go for speed and I have no problem doing speed at all but doing these flawlessly has been a real fun challenge for me and forces me to play the game with all of my tools. Meaning I am forcing spawns in the beginning of the wave, I am funneling the enemies, retreating when there are more than 2-4 enemies at once, drawing enemies to where I want them, using my character's build to the max etc etc etc. These definitely have been a lot of fun for me and its been cool to have as a series.

Nooooo!!!  I looked at the scoreboard and I have one I can redo for time, but the others would be a grind for perfect objcetives to improve time (for me at least).  Heroic can EASILY improve some of his probably in his sleep.    Guess I shouldn't have poked the bear.

I probably should have Shield Recharge at Rank 5 in Fitness.  The goal was to ramp up the Spitfire and never stop firing or moving until the clip was empty.  Keep moving and picking off the best targets.  I'd cast the Turret when I could.

^ no, i'm doing the insanity one, with the engineer. I'm tapped for equipment. It's been a rough solo stretch lol. I wont be able to reattempt for a few days. That might be a good thing. The rage is strong in this one!

Used Aaron's build and it worked awesome. Could have been so much better if not for wave 10. Had 2 rockets left at about 24 minutes. Got Devices!! Got totally pinned in twice by Brutes/Banshees all the way in the back for #3, then again inside camp room behind the counter. Had to rocket out both times and then kill all the enemies after, Dat RNG!!!

If you aren't running Advanced Hardware at least at rank 4 or 5 you might want to burn a respec card.  At 5 you get the innate geth 25% shield regen bonus, which you can bump up even higher w/ Stronghold if necessary.  Turret at 3 is sufficient to give you a little boost for running in between cover.

This is what I was running. Build

Twice, the last captain on wave 5 killed me. lol I couldn't believe it. It actually is not that bad of a build but I'm definitely missing the added shields for that extra survivability. Also, I don't have any cyclonics so I was using adrenaline. I had turrent specced for shield protection. I'll just respec and go for max shields on everything just for the insanity run.

Personally I don't think maxing Turret for shields is worth it any longer. It is only sort of worth it if you want Flamethrower.

I like the 3/6/6/6/5 build that I switched into mainly because he is a fairly tanky weapons platform that way. Also w/ shield damage at Rank 6 Overload you are stripping more shields.

I did GE platinum solo w/ 4/6/6/6/4 and Javelin, and did the no-fitness one on Gold w/ PPR. Overall I like my current one the best.
