This was done in my second try. My first try was a total fail with only 1 missile used and 39min and freeze before scoreboard. lolps3
I wasted a lot of time missing single Abominations, but I'm happy with this one.

Yes you can. It's part of his little biotic upgrade. I know this may make it easier. I initially had it the other way around, but then I thought wait a minute, anything Harrier cannot be insanity.

@didacus: Nice job! Hof Updated. I actually had a successful run with the javelin, but my time was worse than my insanity run lol. Apparently, I can't Javelin.

^ HoF was updated before you posted that. I'm good. lol #yolo. Man, your survivability is impressive! You keep putting out these 10 waves survived runs! I'm pretty sure you could pull off the Heart of Hydra. I will keep trying to test the RNG every so often.

I hear you. I think it's incredibly difficult and may only have a few completions ever. As for this week's hardcore challenge. With singularity, lash and the lolharrier I think it should still be pretty doable. It's definitely a unique build though, which I thought would be fun/interesting/cancerous

I've just updated the OP. You can use either the adept or the Vanguard for the hardcore challenge (without smash) but the insanity one is all about the adept

On my summer holiday, far away from my Xbox...

I finished the "Does this unit have a Soul?" hardcore challenge on PC, which was my first PC solo attempt ever. Yay!

-got 10 waves survived
-the time is pretty bad (51:53), I'll probably do this challenge again on Xbox
-my sniping is atrocious on PC, but if anyone wants to see it, I'll upload the full video once I'm home.
-Build -- please don't judge me, I don't like no HM builds, but I had to go with this one this time
-objectives: devices, devices, hack (center hack of course;))
It will be worth watching the extraction wave because it was effing ridiculous.

 Gave the insanity run a quick go this afternoon.  I managed everything except the three waves survived.  I was gunned down at the end of wave 3, 6 and 8.  Also, ravagers always seemed to pop out of nowhere and health gate me immediately.  I will give it another go.  Not too happy with the time either.  I definitely need to figure out a strategy for Vancouver before attempting again.

Here's my submission for Rise of the Phoenix (Insanity). As you can see I utterly destroyed Heroic's time, he must be so embarrassed right now................

Anyway, this is the build I used and the objectives were 4 devices>Hack>4 devices. I may try to improve this because it's clearly not great but I dislike the Phoenix characters a fair bit so I'm not sure.

It happens.  I was pretty astonished each time I went down and just shook my head.  Went ahead and finished it up anyway after the wave 8 down to get a feel for the later waves.  I think I have a better idea now about a strategy for my next attempt.  Only thing is I have no idea how to force any sort of consistent spawns with all of the spawn points on this map.

I had 2 wave 10 deaths last night, devices and pizzas. Had all the medals and waves survived but my times were garbage, probably been around 50 minutes. I should have been able to finish the Pizza's but I tried to go down the ladder and 2 brutes were just camping that sh**.

I just haven't solo'd Vancouver enough. There is just soooo much fake cover on Vancouver. Getting hit with Banshee warp balls , completely behind a wall is so rage-inducing. Also the angles and distance that Ravagers can hit you is just crazy.
