I just haven't solo'd Vancouver enough. There is just soooo much fake cover on Vancouver. Getting hit with Banshee warp balls , completely behind a wall is so rage-inducing. Also the angles and distance that Ravagers can hit you is just crazy.

That's rough! Yeah, I figured it wouldnt be easy because of the map. I don't think I have ever solo'd vancouver. haha. It's such a large, open map which is especially difficult with the phoenix adept, which requires close-combat. It leaves you pretty open and vulnerable to the ravagers.

ravagers are notorious for sticking their cannons through walls on vancouver too.

I think I found a good nuke strategy for later waves during the 2nd game though, will have to test later. Need to be able to find the 2nd spawn faster. Only had 1 gel and no ops going into 8 last game so just tried to nuke my way through.

That'll be interesting to see. Battle for best spawn nuking strategy begins.

 Terrible time but really went slow to get the first 3 Waves survived plus Grabs.  I have come to find out that Vancouver cheats and I am not good with the Phoenix Adept.  May retry hardcore, but I hate Cerberus, can we use Reapers?:innocent:

@kocka: Nice job man! Keeping cato company up there! As for the hardcore, I'm gonna say let's keep it to Cerberus so it goes with the lore. Also, it's the Harrier.. I can't make it Reaper too

 Here's my week 2 solo (Shepard's clone part 1) - completely overlooked this but here it is. This was the 6th attempt in the last 2 days and the server disconnected me 5 times, yes, making me lose precious level IV consumables. Oh well - the build and the final screen are below:

^Nice BigSam! Yeah, I found that challenge especially tough for whatever reason. Plus you got it done with devices which is always a bonus.

Really cool thread, good job Prestacious, these challenges seem a little tough but I might start trying out a few of them soon.

Thanks! Some of them definitely can be frustrating but in general I think they're pretty fun and kits people don't typically use to solo. Enjoy!

My 10th attempt lol so many attempts. I have no more c 4 because of this 1. I hate cerburus now. cause for some reason all the times I died is when I charged into a phantom Gonna try barla lof uhh whatever u know what I mean the volus 1 2nd attempt

^ Nice job dude! It's not easy to master novaguard esp against sync killing cerberus. That's a solid time though! What was your build like? I haven't had any satisfactory hardcore runs, yet, I should re-attempt actually.

Nice job didacus. Yeah, it seems this is a pretty tough one overall. I bet the devices on wave 10 were actually not that bad on this map though, comparatively. Still, impressive run with devices on 10. I have a feeling my time will be through the roof on this one.
