Now I have to go drink a beer and change my shirt due to all the sweat I had during waves 9 through extraction.  I think I spend the entire game after wave 9 in health gate.

A well deserved beer. I might have one for you too! I can't imagine the wave 10 and extraction stress. You're one of very few who have pulled this off.

5th attempt. I feel so dumb my first attempt was full extract but I forgot to take a photo. Anyways I had a hurricane 1 my lowest black listed gun along with the particle rifle.

Impressive completing it with the hurricane I dude. It's not an easy challenge, especially on Rio. Great job on the insanity run noeschi, that's a quick time!

Another of my hour long adventures - this time for 'Rise of the Pheonix - Insanity' challenge. One of the most random solos I ever did - no spawn control, no tactic and random kiting. Very typical of my first solo on this map or with this kit. I didn't enjoy this map for soloing but was fun nonetheless. Lot of annoyances like banshee warps going through solid crates and hitting me (I am sure all have experienced this). Here's the final screen:

Objectives:
Pizza > Devices > Devices (almost rage quit as the devices were in horrible locations)
Build: 6/6/6/5/3, Talon III + power magnifier + heavy barrel
Warp ammo IV, pistol rail amp III, cyclonic III, commando package V
Consumables used: 4 rockets, 6 ops, 2 gels

Done with devices on 6 and 10 which is always impressive. I attempted this one a couple times without success. It's definitely a more difficult map for soloing, especially with the more close-range combat style of the Phoenix adept.

 Another solo - this time for 'This Hurts you - Insanity'. One of my better solos mainly because of the '10 waves survived medal'. No gels used and 4 ops packs used. Cyclonic IV + 40% DR lets you tank quite well!

***As I said before, I don't have the CSMG and so, I used the BPP for the weight factor and used only the CAR***.
Objectives: Escort > Targets > Escort

^ Well done bgsam on the couple of completions.

No worries. As I had mentioned, equipping the BPP as an equivalent weight weapon to the CSMG for This Hurts You (Insanity) and only using the CAR is fine by me.

I think using the CAR is more difficult than with the CSMG, very nice job on the 10 waves survived with that kit.

Here's a first entry. Figured I'd do the Week 5: Indoctrinated Hardcore since TSent has always been my favorite kit. My girlfriend ReaperRed pointed me in the direction of this thread and suggested I give it a try.

I recently started playing again on PC after six months of barely touching the PC version (I'm a former PS3 player) and I'm still getting used to it, so there's a few serious derp moments here and there, but overall I think it went fairly well.

In the last few days I attempted the Mordus insanity challenge again four times, and got devices on wave 3 once, once on wave 6, and twice on wave 10. I'm pretty sure I had my best run yet on the one with the wave 6 devices, but I rage-quit all these games after I realized what the objective was.

I will keep trying for a sub-25 time.

Edit: yeah, also youtube seems to have suspended my account for no apparent reason and I can't be bothered to create another one, so no videos from me from now on.

@kaxas: That's rough luck man with the youtube account. It's true how much soloing is about objectives when you're going for a quick time. Looks like you're on a bad streak of devices too. Good luck, I'm sure it'll end with a solid sub25 run

@Morbid: Nice completion! Don't worry about the time, that is a tough one and not many people have gotten it so far. (or attempted perhaps). I have added you to the HoF. Don't hate me, but I've put it as a Hardcore completion since you didn't have 5 personal gold medals required for the Insanity. (The gold medal for full extraction and gold completion don't count). All other personal gold medals including killstreaks do count.  

Also, I'm officially back, so no more crazy delays in responding and in updates Weekly challenges continue in full swing!

Hardcore Version of Week 4: Now I am Become Death. I almost gave up, thinking it was hopeless when I got targets on wave 10 and had only 1 missile and 0 of everything else. I'm glad I stuck with it. Wasn't pretty, but I made it through.

So, I have a question. Because I'm a dork and apparently not quite literate yet I did Week 3 on regular Reactor by accident, not the Hazard version. Does it still count? At the very least, with Reactor Hazard the "Hazard" is more of a player advantage, I wouldn't ask this if it were any of the other Hazard maps.

Basically, the thought of redoing it has me in a cold sweat.
