Today I experienced the fact, that Collectors aren´t the best faction:

 

Tried Series 1 Week 18: The Savagery of Heshtok (Epic) today. Vorcha soldier with BBP and Executioner Pistol vs Collectors on Dagger Hazard.

 

Wave 1: Praetorian lasers me through the wall. Wth?

Wave 6: Possessed Praetorian rockets are following me around corners and take 90 % of my health. Combat Engineer finished me off.

 

This wasn´t the first time I encoutered this foul play on this challenge.

 

So what´s the deal with Praetorian cheating? Makes me rage skipping that challenge. D:

 

Now I´m feeling better. Needed to rant somehow. D:

 

Edit: Bioware, pls nerf the Praetorian. Thank you.

Banshee warps also go through dagger hazard walls - not just praetorian lasers.

 

It's just a bad map design.

Haven´t been shot by Phatoms through walls so far......wait, happend once. Phantom simply put her hand through the wall. Nevermind .

 

I really should complain at Alliance HQ for not keeping their installations penetration free .

Hello there guys,

Today I decided to do a solo on White Hazard, the last map I had not soloed on yet and I thought about doing The Alpha And Omega run on it for the challenge, and when I checked the weekly challenges I saw that it was actually on White Hazard , but I'd swear that it was set to normal White before, was that changed to the hazard version later by any chance? In any case I did it on the hazard map too, so here it is. No decent screenshots sorry.

Sniping outside was a joke, you cannot see s**te outside on that map, specially with hunter mode on, it actually took me about 10 minutes longer than the previous one, then again I got those damn devices on w6 and had to keep luring the enemies away in order to finish them, and of course I couldn't find any decent spawn to kill, the history of my life. I was actually hoping to do at least a couple on w9 and wtf! I run down the map hoping to find them there were they usually are and have actually been spawning the entire game! and what do you know!?!? they all got spawned up at the LZ, and by the time I got there they were all spread out, man was I p*ssed off! so I decided to use some missiles anyway and went down a couple of times trying to get a few bosses together Anyway I managed to calm down and finish the game, and well... after all it always feels nice to just missile all those dragoons that this game kindly keeps throwing at you on w11 to ruin your extraction. What? dragoons? hey eat this! what? more dragoons at the LZ? well here's another one!, what!?!? even more!?!?! no matter blow them off again!    come on dragoons bring it on I've plenty missiles for all of you gorramit!!! (1)

This one went all kinds of wrong, died on wave 2 monkeying around trying to get grabs (obviously the first three waves are the easiest ones to get 3WS), then I couldn't get the targets to switch on w6 and had to nuke all 4- I would have just quit right there but getting those 5 grabs was such a pain in the ass that I didn't want to have to do it again. So I saved my other two nukes for w10, and got pizzas so I really didn't need them.   Oh well, was still fun- I'm sort of embarrassed to admit that this was like, the 4th or 5th time I've even used the Cabal at all. In any case, N5 complete.

So that means that my two previous posts for this challenge are no good Oh man sorry about that. Well, consider it done now, at least the platinum one hehe, I will delete the other ones.

So I wonder if some of the N7 series vets can give me a little feedback- what was your 4th personal gold medal on these first couple N6 solos (Widow/Krysae TSol and Valiant/Supressor Drellfiltrator)? Did people try for grabs, or killstreaks, or... ?

Grabs.

 

On Vancouver they're super easy, on Dagger they can obviously get you into trouble, especially with the Drell Assassin. On Hydra they were surprisingly easy but the end-of-wave rush can be deadly if you're out of position.

Yeah good call on Vancouver. May go for the 3 Killstreaks on Dagger since that's one of the easier maps to get them on, and you're probably right that that's a dicier proposition for grabs.

For the fat turian it was Grabs (and I used Widow instead of Krysae because Headshots). For the Drellfiltrator, my run ended up being killstreaks but I would venture to guess the most reliable would just be to do grabs (wait for end of wave rush at the bottom of the tower near all that waist high cover stuff)

Gotcha... thanks you guys, will see how it goes- I'll be less averse to having to re-do the Drell one because it doesn't require equipment I'm really low on (cyclonics, shotgun amps). Definitely will be using the Widow on the fat turian as well, because, well, hurray Widow! and boo Krysae! (also: headshots).

So I've always had trouble loading FB Dagger, at least as host/solo player, and it seems its as bad as ever right now- 5 straight attempts of trying to start this Collectors/Dagger game (N6.II) and it just disconnects every time. I've heard/read other people mention issues with Dagger, does anyone know a way around this, or at least anything to try that may help?

You could try to have someone host it for you, and then they just quit when you are both in. migrating the host to. Worth a try
