I know, game's been out for a year and 3 months now and RNG store as of right now is still RNG. 
Or is it? 

The past ~20 ish Ultra Rares I got in a specific pattern (kinda). I would buy a PSP (or any of the 99k packs) and I if I was to get a UR the next pack almost 100% of the time contained another UR. In this sense I got 4 URs out of 400k worth of packs once. 

Now I have seen the mass pack buying videos where this clearly is not the case for them, but it has been for me

It's different for everyone.

If we're talking about personal experiences; I've had a higher UR drop rate from regular Spectre packs than PSPs.

However, I recently tried arsenal packs (when I first thought that they were crap, along with reserve packs) and I've enjoyed a steady stream of UR weapons (probably making up for the dry spell I've had).

It's all random though - no point in telling people to buy a certain pack just because you've had good luck with that pack.

If we're talking about ironic patterns, I have UR sniper rifles at really high levels when I can't even snipe and I'd prefer to have Harriers and Lancers!

the whole buying packs in bulk wont give you a better chance for URs.

I usually get the same UR if I get a win streak. I went from a IV to VIII javelin in one night. Similar thing happened to my Wraith.

What I've been experiencing is this: buy 5 packs, 6th pack has ultra rare, 7th pack does not, 8th pack does, 9th pack does, 10th pack does not.
