Wow, the replies to this topic really surprise me! I make a point of constantly playing with all possible characters, change their builds repeatedly and not leave any weapon collecting dust (as for the weapons, to be honest, there are some that I absolutely refuse to use!). I knew it was a bit of "my thing", but I really expected other people to vary at least a bit more than it sounds like here!!

Not that I haven't used them but, my least used is the Drell class.

Yeah I do prefer the biotics and engineers over most everthing else, one thing is the soldier class and infiltrators are so good at what they do it's hard not to give them some face time.. the one class I rarely play is vanguards thought the asari was the character I first learned how to be an effective death dealer on

i believe i was quite vocal earlier in this thread about my distaste for the vorchineer.
with some assistance (ahem, threatening) from a buddy of mine i have come to an understanding with that kit. and i think it my become one of my favorites over time.

i think she's got an answer for every situation.
Biotic charge for mook devastation, Stasis for phantoms, CC, even sniping, and Grenades to mop up everything else. and that's not even factoring in the weapons you can select for her!

i usually pack a Talon with incendiary ammo. heavy barrel and piercing for the mods. i do alright against bosses. granted she's not an outright boss killer, but she does her share of dmg.

I think that's whats great about this game is there are so many different variations of characters and builds that if you pay attention to other players in your games so that when you run into good players and see how effective they can be with certain kits it will make you give them a second chance...

It was Silent who showed me the justicar could flat out rape enemies and she has since been a character I go to regularily to play solid matches.. of course BSN is always a great source of information on good builds and playstyle information... Also I've watched jumpin's videos (rarely plays now) for good information on the game... I know i know BSN doesn't care for him much but he is entertaining and did play a big part in my development.. right now I watch invaderone's videos which are top notch i think these are just some of the great sources out there for players to get info, tips, ideas on the game.. besides Silent I haven't played with either jumpin or invaderone I just respect what they do in putting out content that helps others and not the look at me I did a solo variety.

Blasphemy!!

Atlas?  That's what the gun is for.  I run the AV with the Pirhana, but you can also use the Wraith, Talon, Eagle, Hurricane - All work well on her.

I prefer the Pirhana, which will take down an Atlas pretty quickly, and you can always BC to finish him off, while chucking in a few grenades.

She's one of the most powerful non-infiltrators in the game, a monster against Cerberus.

whoa someone likes the AV... on gold and lower I really like the mattock on her if your trigger finger is strong with the light weight, pinpoint accuracy, and stopping power you can put mods that will compliment either ap or warp ammo and that gun can make quick work of an atlas..

So I used the volus sentinel and vanguard last night
And I think I liked the sentinel better
Did not like the vanguard
Though I'm sorry to say I did not check out lazy's guide
I'll probably do that and give the vanguard another chance
