Tatsumaki how does buying a PC make one intelligent? i fail to see how owning one instantly makes you smarter?
A PC is not the end all of gaming some just do not like the hassle.
and i see PC players whine constantly about console exclusives, but i do not berate them for their choice of buying a PC like you are doing to console users
Because PC has room for upgrades. Its a logical thing to do. If you wanted to fully enjoy your gaming experience you would have thought about it from PhysX to ambient occulsion and even frame rate.
2. My take on the console does not stem from superiority complex. The animosity stems from console owners decision that negatively affected hundreds of thousands of other people. Their decision to purchase a console made the initial market grow. Now every PC owner out there suffers because of this decision.
Game developers are not going to program double work for multi-platform. Too much time and resource for the minial ROI.
Bioware is too kind and caters still to the mass market unlike Blizzard whom just makes titles for the PC fully utilizing all capabilities from graphics to performance.
In the mid 1990s Westwood made a big hit series; Command and Conquer. It was so successful that there was Playstation port for it. No one ****ed about this when things are created for PC platform and then ported to console. Now its the reverse, and that is the problem
The bolded text Diablo 3.
PC if i wanted to fully enjoy my gaming experince?

I also would like to know about the import features before making final decisions, too. If 360 gets a direct import but XBox One versions have to choose from default profiles I'll probably buy the 360 version regardless if I own a next gen console.

I suspected you may say that. Diablo 3 crashed and burn because of the Real Money AH or did you purposefully forget to include that. D2 was fine and people played it for a years and years. It didn't have the Real Money AH nor was it so AH dependent.
Since you decided to bring up D3, why not Starcraft? This single title started from humble beginnings and now is a WCG game. Don't see any Starcraft for consoles now do we? except ghost which isn't an RTS.
Like I said, console market affects the PC market not the other way around. Things were fine when Bioware had the Baldur's Gate stuff - PC only.

Was just wondering and don't get mad at me for putting my idea forward. We have like 14 months till the release date (if all goes well). If say one was to put 20$ aside every month for that time he would have 280 dollars right? So that's 120 dollars short from 400? Is that a high amount? I know I will upgrade my pc and it won't be a small amount (plus I am a student) but If I can have a better experience with the game then I am fine with it. Also I don't have anything against console players (after all we should all enjoy a great game).
Here's the thing, though, say I'm putting £100 away each month for my child's trust fund, paying my mortgage, my utility bills, buying food, my internet bill and so on what do you suggest? It's one thing being a student, another thing entirely having to provide for your family and making sure your out goings match up with your incommings. Hell, i remember my student days, when i didn't have kids, responsibilities etc, I could blow an entire wage on a night out if i so wished to.
Also, I'm not the person whom dictates to BioWare that they should or shouldn't be catering to console users. I have no input in their decisions whatsoever, so what makes you think me and other like me owning a pc is gonna change? Since we're all doing 'wondering' here, I'd like to wonder why people who ask these questions don't move onto something else if they're not happy with the direction a game is going? I mean, if i really had issues with what i was about to purchase, i wouldn't purchase the item. So i don't really get why people are saying we should all upgrade as the decision has already been made.

Unfortunately, neither of those theoretical perspectives holds up in the real world, where Diablo III was a PC exclusive with an unlimited budget and Dragon Age II was rushed out the door on an apparent shoestring budget for every platform out there.
In general, I think inclusiveness is a good thing, and the more pla6tforms a game can be played on, the better. I hope that the developers and the game engine are able to scale the game performance such that making it playable on old consoles doesn't detract from the experience of gamers with new consoles and (obviously) PCs.

Yeah, I'm real keen to shell out $1000 for the first iteration of a console generation. That can only work out well for me.

If there is an import feature that makes allot of difference I may have to buy it on 360 anyway.
Don't really want an xbox one if I can afford it I may get one but not use it as my primary gaming platform.
I'm thinking of going back to pc or maybe ps4 I need new information about all of this before i decide.
Plus I am pretty much broke atm so I may not be buying anything game related for a while.

Wave combat wasn't related to the console limitations. It was designed to be that way; they just didn't have enough time for a credible implementation (hence, men raining down from above).
You can dislike the mechanic, and you can certainly dislike the way they chose to incorporate it into the game, but it really is unrelated to which platforms they chose to support as far as I'm aware.
Mike has talked about working on the combat to keep it paced similar to DA2 but having it be more "tactical" (whatever that means), and they definitely won't be teleporting in from space anymore.
Oh damn, I has hoping 'awesome button', teleporting rogues and other such pointless rubbish was well and truly dead.

Hmm then I guess my idea got shot down. I can understand ppl not wanting to buy the new consoles just yet. I just hope the pc version wont feel like a console game like many do these days. Btw if they said that DA:I is for current and next gen consoles they cant change their decision after a year right?
I don't think it would look good, but I seen several developers go from xbox to sony and vice versa. They didn't make the pc version or the game was multiplat that became pc exclusive. (those or normally rts and rpgs though)

I don't think we'll really see what these consoles are really capable of until a few years in. For a year or so, I think the systems will be fairly comparable.
See below. Hard to believe these two games were born in the same generation...

Also, to echo an earlier sentiment: Not all of us have $500-$600 (I'm including the game price w/ the console) in disposable income sitting around for the new consoles yet.

Bioware are doing a good thing with releasing on the old-gen though, a little bit of my faith in them has been restored. Now if only they would show us some screens of gameplay to get us excited.
