He's two feet tall and voiced by Danny DeVito.

Calling it now.

I'm with this one.

I say it's Steven Barr (Wrex's VA) lol

Steve Blum.

(I'll keep push my Oghren theory for awhile)

Okay, if you insist on nitpicking. Why would he wear his full armor, if he isn't going into battle at the moment we see him?

Maybe that is his full armor.

Underlined and boldened the important word in what you just said.

I concur. That's probably what he does wear into battle.
If women can prance around half naked into battle in videogames, why not men?

He does wear armor. Or half of him does, at least.

Sorry if that came of as nitpicking, weren't my intension. I don't know. Maybe he likes it that way.

I really hope the name's not Iron Bull, because when I read that I keep thinking of some weird mutant soft drink made from Irn Bru and Red Bull.

Iron Bull sounds like a Jade Empire companion to me. I'm not really a fan of the name in the Dragon Age setting, at least not for a Qunari.

@rapscallioness
I think Varric will be a companion. I'd like to see Cassandra as a companion as well, but the trailer made me think she won't be. She seemed to be doing her own stuff, leading her own troops, and that's not typical of companion characters. I don't think the Qunari shown was meant to be a named Qunari or companion, he's just a generic Qunari soldier. I don't think Morrigan will return as a companion, but rather will play a role similar to the ones Flemeth played in the last two games.

Yeah, I'm thinking "Iron Bull" is a placeholder name. If he's a companion. Which I really hope he is.

As far as everyone else...I don't know what to think anymore. I guess the joy of discovery and all that.

Unless he has a tiny little head then his own body/musculature are good enough frame of reference to determine he's pretty effin' huge. No other Kossith that we've seen have had a build that large.

Also, he's probably the Iron Bull. Look at his horns. The nick name makes perfect sense.

I don't recall Dragon Age having a lot of skimpy armors. But then again, I rarely (or rather never) play as a female PC, so I don't get to see the female counterparts to the armors.

But then again, with horns as big as that Qunari got, putting a shirt on would be.... challenging. And shoulderplates would probably be rather annoying aswell. But, the lore does state that the Qunari warriors, wear heavy shinning platemail into combat, so that would be the main reason for why a Qunari wouldn't fight half-naked.

edit: my mistake, they are called Belgian Blue cows.

It's hard to make out the size of his head from the back profile, since his head is equivalent to a human "leaning forward" with his head.

I suspect that if we were to draw what we think the size of the head is, we'd probably come up with something different from the back shot.

I can't even imagine a Qunari that isn't a Qunari. Like Petrice said of the Tal-Vashoth, "Even their rebels conform". They all fit their roles so well and stick to them...This Iron Bull guy'll blow my mind just by making a facial expression.

Considering the other characters who are given similar screentime all seem to be potential companions or plot-relevant characters (Morrigan, Varric and Cassandra) I'm assuming he is important as an individual rather than just symbolizing the Qunari. The very un-Qunari flags surrounding him imply that he's a mercenary.

He does appear to be very large- its the head-to-shoulder ratio, I think. Certainly looks like a force to be reckoned with at any rate.

Still, the proportions of his back and back muscles are very Vega-esque. It's not just because he's leaning his head forward. It could be he ends up being short and have a big head but he'll still be really stocky.

I meant women in videogames in general.
DA:O had some questionable armor, but DA2's female armor was excellent overall.

As far as the 'Oxman,' you make a really good point about the horns making it difficult to wear anything that requires going over the head.
But I seriously doubt he is Qunari, so the armor doesn't apply.

His outfit seems to have a sort of gladiatorial style to it. They would only wear armor on the arm and shoulder facing the enemy in their combat stance, so I understand it. Because they're slaves, so only the bare essentials for protection, etc.

He's stocky no doubt (I actually haven't seen him in game, so I don't have much frame of reference either).

I don't see him as being excessively larger than the Arishok though (though I would say he's larger than the Arishok):

The guy in the trailer has enormous shoulders and lats though. They are massive in proportion to his waste. He makes the Arishok look almost scrawny by comparison.

Will we get to kick his ass in pullups like Vega?

I was hoping for modified sumo wrestling using only your heads and perhaps a horned helmet.
