This qunari looks exceptionally bulky. And his horns look wrong.

What I REALLY want to see is some real armor on a Qunari. At least some kind of cuirass/breastplate.

I have a suspicion that if the survey is correct then "Iron Bull" is Maraas from DA2. And I think he is possibly the Qunari/Tal Vashoth in the trailer.

You know I actually would have liked something to happen with the Arishok in 2. there was a nice mutual respect thing going on there. Could of ended up quite passionate. So I would like this too.

I agree this seems big, Blizzard big (Blizzard make some good art but when it comes to anatomy and shoulder pads they tend to get carried away). Even in ][ it seemed odd to me how super muscular all Qunari were. I get it that they're naturally bigger than humans but looking like bodybuilders as a racial trait is sort of odd, even for a fantasy race. I'm not saying it doesn't look cool as hell, just that when it's the default model it's harder to take Qunari seriously as an actual people. In Origins they looked alien and imposing as hell yet believable as an earthly culture that has traders and stuff. I like the horns and everything and the added mystique but I still like to think they're neighbours (if alien and vastly different), not some demonic race. So maybe don't go full steroid look please?

I also agree the texture work looks fantastic.

edit: my mistake, they are called Belgian Blue cows.

It's hard to make out the size of his head from the back profile, since his head is equivalent to a human "leaning forward" with his head.

I suspect that if we were to draw what we think the size of the head is, we'd probably come up with something different from the back shot.

after seeing Sten in origins and all the quanri in DA;2, we lready know he's big, stop being coy about. y'all put a midget qunari in the game though and i will laugh and laugh

I would die happy  I love Maraas.

The textures were beautiful of course but I do hope that the final model for the qunari stick to the DA2 reboot and don't go massively overboard as this hulk-shouldered, tiny-headed creature did.

The leaked survey (yes, I know it's been disavowed, but it's still fun to speculate) also said that Iron Bull had been a mercenary for at least a decade.  Maraas didn't start mercenarying until the very end of DA2, so unless they set DA:I a while after DA2, the timeline doesn't match up.
