[Giga Drill BREAKER]

Don't care as long as we haven't seen them before, and the mages have access to the same powers. It sucked the Anders was the only one with revive and Merrill couldn't heal at all.

So I did some quick and dirty research on past companions and here's what I came up with:

I looked at DA: O, DA 2, and all expansions for both games and counted up the number of companions that you could have in each game.  I included the temporary companions for the origins, as well as the companions in the expansions.  Anders and Oghren only got counted once.

I counted:

11 human males
8 human females
8 dwarf males
6 elf males
5 elf females
4 "others" (Dog, Golems [both of them], and Spirit)
1 dwarf female
1 qunari male
0 qunari females

Clearly, out of the four major races, the three under represented groups are:  female dwarves and qunari of either gender.  My vote would definitely be for another female dwarf.  I think it's crazy that out of 44 companions, only 1 was a lady dwarf.  As my avatar shows, I'm a bit partial, but Sigrun was awesome and very well received so I'm not sure why the team seemed to give up on female dwarves in DA2.  Hopefully they make a triumphant (and curvaceous) return in DA: I!

Alistair, Leliana, Varric. Just seen a shout for Shale, that would be great; getting to party up with Sten as well would be cool. Isabela, bumping into her (hopefully with Hawke, being together as LI from ending of DA2). Morrigan too, and maybe Cassandra but I can see those being cameos at best.

Thats previous characters covered - new ones, Grey Wardens, Mages? You could end up with a very cool mix of characters and combat styles, abilities. Inquisitors usually have a flexible and varied group with them.

This  . I so want Cullen as a LI companion. The way his story has progressed has made me want him even more. Other than that I I'd like some new characters as well. Cassandra might be a good choice. I don't know. Just please give us Cullen.

No love for my mage trapped in a cat's body idea? Why not? We need an adorably cute companion.

I have other ideas too, such as:

A heavy set/overwight lady mage voiced by Dawn French who quips jokes, makes sarcastic comments, as a LI, she will try to be the most seductive and dirty.

A male warrior, possibly human, quanari, or a love child of the two, who fulfils every criteria set out by the Bonnie Tyler song "Holding out for a Hero", (strong, fast, larger than life etc), the protector role LI sort of.

A teenage/young adult male rogue, who has a battered and broken past and has resorted to petty crime to feed his younger siblings, he is slow to trust you and possibly paranoid, you are the protector LI. Or you can choose to "mother", or "big brother" him.

But on a serious note I would certainly like to see Sten return. Would be interesting to see what comes of him after being a companion of the Warden but then having Hawke kill the Arishok.
Leliana depending how the story goes and perhaps Shale.
A female Kossith or maybe even a new race I wouldn't mind.

A shout for Loghain as well even though that is highly unlikely.

This would be good too. I would like him to be somewhat possessive as well. Kind of like those romance novels some of us ladies read about the Scottish/Irish love interest who feels he has claim on the woman. She is his and no one will take her away from him. These characters also tend to be very honorable, protective, and caring despite the possessiveness.

One my biggest grip with DA2 was that mother said ''Well the other nobles have a daughter about your age'' yet we never meet them and not a soldier please... i have hade enough of tomboy women but PLEASE do not give me another isabella.

Final note: PLEASE do not give us another zevran or anders.. i really hate characters that hit on you and then give disapproval when you tell them ''Sorry bro, I don't swing that way'' and then keep hitting on you.

 All new Companions. The companions in DA:O and DA:2 alrady have compleated compleat storys with the person they see as the Hero or strongest person they know. So I do not want to see thim return as a companions.
