I would love to see Sebastian again but in an unchaste way. I recall that his writer mentioned that his story was unfinished on a previous forum for DA2.

1. Morrigan (love that voice)
2. Leliana (hers too)
3. Varric (bromance anyone?)
4. Isabella (always have to have the overly sexual and comfortable with it chick)
5. Oghren (c'mon, it's Oghren lol, cool voice too)
6. Wynne (if she's still alive, need the mother hen to keep me in my place)
7. Alistair/Loghain
8. Pretty much anyone in all the games but not the extended universe.
That's about it.
That being said however there are a few caveats.
1. No one should appear who is involved elswhere, such as LI to warden or Hawke, or dead, or King of Ferelden etc. EDIT: I mean they will be there if not LI or whatever but game removes them from companion options if they are. Thus, each playthrough may have a different companion list.
2. Absolutlely no one from the extended universe (books etc). Or at least, do not assume people know about these characters before the game comes out. Not everyone goes outside the games to learn about the universe and I really hated this with Kai Leng in Mass Effect 3. I had no idea who this fool was and had no respect for him and when the acheivment popped for "beating your greatest enemy" after the cronos mission I was like WTF? he was a pathetic enemy. I heard later he was in some books and was bad ass but became lame when made into the game. This I do not want to see happen again. If you want to add characters from the EU to the game, have them come with their back story explained during the game progression.

Other than those three there isn't anyone I'm really interested in getting back in my party. And please don't do those cheesy cameo missions like in ME3. If we're going to meet up with characters from previous games, try to do it in a way that feels natural and unforced.

I really want a truly malicious demon as an optional companion, you know, something like Ya Zhen, and something you have to really work towards getting (losing a couple of companions in the process, possibly sacrificing). And I'd love him being not as much tied, but significant in on of the endings.
