Regalyan, representing mages still loyal to the Chantry. It's true that the Chantry has been portrayed rather unsympathetically, especially as it relates to the regulation of mages, and I'd like to see an amiable, likable character who supports them.
Cullen, representing templars, for much the same reason.
Varric, with no explanation needed.
Tal-Vashoth female mage. Outside of the Tamassran (the priesthood - I know I spelled that wrong), women seem to get the short end of the stick in Qunari society. I would like to get to know one who has rejected both her expected role in the Qun and the one she would be forced to assume if anybody knew about her magic. She would have had to left the Qun early, I suppose, before her talents manifested. Either that or she would need to have a really sensible head on her shoulders, to hide what she was for long enough to avoid detection.
Shiani. She's clever, sweet, and adorable without being cloying.
Sigrun. She's fun and funny, but she has a serious side, too. I loved that she was dark without being broody.

Two qunari, one Tal-vashoth, one qun, and one male and one female
A fighting priest (think Shepherd Brook/Thoros of Myr)
A Tevinter mage
A non-crow Antivan
A disgraced Chevalier

Who can resist that shiny armor and awesome accent? Also, Im not homosexual but he has amazing eyes. He was my favorite companion in DA2. I even killed Anders just to keep him in the party.

Poor Sebastian. He only has one vote. (My vote)

Well, Sebastian's story is not finished if I'm not wrong. I certainly hope to see him again but I think he probably won't come back as a full companion.
Somehow he reminds me of Cesare Borgia from the tvshow "Borgia". media.canal-plus.com/image/93/9/433939.200.jpg Maybe he will become exactly like him if he is pushed to retake Starkhaven during DA2? Much more ambitious, violent but LESS religious. (<< edited)
Personaly, I like him to stay nice and friendly (I chosed the friendship path), but come on, a chaste mariage O_O seriously ? <_<

Well I convinced him to stay with the Chantry so if he is in DA3 he will likely be with whatever faction is still loyal to the Chantry. Maybe he becomes a Seeker (Cassandra group). Or perhaps he decides to retake Starkhaven after all because he knows war is coming and wants to lend his support on a larger scale. Oh the possibilities!MWImexico wrote...

Sigrun
Varric
And I want Justice/Vengeance as a villain, maybe even the main antagonist. It would be interesting (but not a first) to have a former companion as a boss fight.

Male Tevinter Mage
An old, wise woman who dishes out advice even when you don't want it. Kinda like Wynne.

I also think it would be cool if say whoever became king/queen e.g alistair and warden, alistair anora etc, their child could become a companion. I'm not quite sure how it would work seeing as every warden is indivualised but it'd be great if it could happen.

as long as it's NOT Tallis or Fenris
and if they are then i want an option to either Kill them or Kick them out
and pick up other characters along the way
sort of like they done in DA:O with Leliana, Sten, Wynne, Zefram but if it was
and would like to have Morrigan as a follower as she was big fun to have
else i would like the Angry Elven mage from Awakening (Forgot her name) might be fun to have as a follower

I would also think that Nyree from Redemption would be a pretty badass mercenary companion who could act as your personal henchman (like Aveline and Fenris in DA 2).
And I am still waiting for a Chasind companion...
