What, you say their potential outcomes are a bit too divergent? That there's too many ways Nate could be dead? ....Well. Yeah. And Sebastian has a lot of things he could be doing. Ditto with Fenyriel.

BUT IN A PERFECT WORLD, they would be my new "time to get some order and justice up in here" party. Much like my ideal Sebastian, TankHawke, Aveline, Fenris party.... Or my dwarfparty: Oghren, Shale, dorfwarden, and Wynne for fun.

Since I'm liable to be SOL on that one, I'm going to vote for a female dwarf, preferably a tank, and a ranger who has a bear as his companion completely in character. Also a mage who shapeshifts and it makes it into cinematics. Possibly into a bear, again, but if that spec was available to the character, let's be honest, I'd never play anything else.

If there's one thing I miss about DA:O that never made it into DA: @*#@^in' Kirkwall, it's the random bears from my party. I once had it so that three of us were bears, and Zevran had a bear pet. It made me happy.

 I'd like a blood mage companion, who's incredibly intelligent yet (s)he cannot comprehend why foreigners hate his/her art. We've never really had a companion with an evil morality, so it could be interesting if they're only with us because we have something they need or they follow a "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" approach to the PC. 

They could be even more interesting if they were a LI, as it would be a fun storyline if they found themselves falling in love with your character when they originally only followed you out of desperation/neccessity. 

Other than that idea, I'd simply like more Elven and Dwarven companions. I enjoy racial diversity in my fantasy RPG parties!

Someone like Shale, HK-47, Grunt, Zaeed or Wrex. I will be happy with any combat focused companion who does not whine every minute about his or her tragic life. Less drama queens, more bloodthirsty and sarcastic warriors, please.

Cassandra, Varric, Cole, Ariane and Finn, Sandal, or Stroud.

For new companions, a Tevinter Magister, a Chevalier, a City Elf, a dwarven Berserker named Carlos, a Tal-Vashoth (Perhaps someone like Iron Bull from the survey), or a Fog Warrior would be interesting.

What's the hangup on Bethany and Carver? I can see maybe wanting Carver. There was an actual person there. But Bethany was just a cardboard cut-out that some people seem to want to indulge incest fantasies with.

Ones that will obey their bloody tactics and not do stupid weird crap at random moments like suddenly turning around midway through the deep roads to sprint back to the level starting point.
