Hello all,

Been thinking about getting back to obtaining the trophies for MGS4, but I am wondering how it's supposed to work.

Am I required to start a TOTALLY NEW game from scratch in order to obtain them? For example, one of the trophies is to "obtain the Solar Gun". I have already unlocked it... so my guess is it won't unlock automatically right after the update. Instead I am required to start a new game. How about the other trophies, such as defeating the bosses?

Sadly you will need to start over from scratch to get the Trophies.
I don't have a good memory but, i think there are no trophies related to the story or bosses.

Afraid you'll have to start from scratch. There are a few boss related ones, like getting the dolls of the FROG Unit and BB Corps. If you've played MGS4 before like you say and know it inside out, you shouldn't have any problems. Except for trophies like the "Get All iPod tracks" and watch every flashback (the cutscene ones where you press X a few times and pictures fade in and out)

Thank you so much guys =). I guess it's a good thing I haven't played MGS4 for a while. It will be SORT OF a new experience for me if I am starting from scratch, haha.
