 Hello,
This is my first time posting here but I've been a fan of these series since the beginning. I really like the characters in this series.
First a bit of an introduction. I'm Denise and I'm a Game Artist Student and I have to write an endyear paper that links to my project. Now I've decided to write a paper about writhing empatizing characters for video games and I want to ask your oppinions on what makes you empathize (or totally not) with a character.
I've created this little questionaire to collect some data, so if some of you would want to fill that in for me, that would be of great help

I would also like to start the discussion about what makes you like your favorite character so much or what really makes you hate a character? Is it their background or character traits?

For example, my favorite characters are Garrus, Tali and Liara. I really like Garrus in the romance option because he's so sweet that he buys a bottle of whine he can't even drink himself I really like it that if you choose the romance option you also see his vulnerable side, what makes me empatize with him more. Liara and Tali I see more as the best friends you would hang out with, they really have a warm side to them that I see back in my own friendships.

Character dialogue and interaction have to be well-written, plus these games such as DAO and ME series are long enough so you have enough time to get attached to them (whether you love them or hate them).
