Quite frankly, when I come across an amazing player in a PC PUG it's almost never a BSN forumite.

Now that I think about it, Sirian has nothing on some of the holy avengers of BSN, so yea, maybe this thread is correct.

That's quite a change of topic. Anyway, yes I know lots of people who don't post here just lurk plus quite a few who never even look at this site.

Nice playing with you yesterday, I was going to send a Good Game message to your friends but they didn't show up in my recently played with list and I couldn't remember their names.

@deerber.  Alright.  Like I said, for the PC guys I've only seen video and not actually played with anybody.  You're the expert there.   Good response, and I agree that the current and past pc players that you listed have released some impressive footage.  Also, they all have clean records and appear to be legit players(the ones you listed, anyway).

At a certain level, it's really just about who gets to something first though because everyone is an efficient killer. Some do somethings better than others but for the most part it's a coins toss between some of the elite players. I never could judge who is the best player on my platform because it's so situational and diverse between maps, kits, weapons, etc. I can tell if someone is great by their performance in game but I couldn't begin to say who is the best.

Well, it should of course only be taken as my very personal opinion. And yes at a certain level it's all about spawn prediction. And yes, at a certain level it's also quite hard to say who's better than who. For example, I could never say who's better between Nought and Cricketer. But, those players I mentioned... Those were the ones who made you think "dang, this guy's on another level". It was not really a rational thing, more like a feeling regarding how different the games are with them or without.

Edit: lol, this question is quite different. And yes I do, although most of them read the BSN at least. Some of them are also pretty good players.

This.

in a co op PvE game with a team of 4 who are each able to singlehandedly trivialize the game regardless of setup it all comes down to who finds the enemies first. I've outperformed players who are better than me due to getting to spawns first and vice versa.

Not that it really matters who is the "best" in a co op PvE game. Some people on this board are more competitive with this game than PvP communities for some of the other RPGs and shooters I've played... kinda sad really

Prior to the last couple of months, most of the people I played with hardly, if ever, posted on these forums.

Only if you're on a stationary bike. Otherwise, you're just the usual scrub.

I know that the most active player in Finland is FrozeShadow or whatshisname I dunno.
But haven't seen him play and never seen an ID like his around here so dunno. So tis all speculation.

A few. The ones I started playing with back in March of last year are all long gone. None of them were ever on BSN.

I've got a few people on my FL who I met while PuGing. "Occasional lurkers" is how I would describe a couple, but the rest aren't on BSN.

BSN is a nice community, but I think the majority of players don't frequent it... about 95% of the games I've played are pug gold/platinum matches over the last year and a bit on xbox and I recognized two of the names from here.. cain and ashenearth.. I play on a semi regular basis games with silentstep and thats it.. I'm suspecting many of the bsners just don't pug platinum much. This question of the best is a bit silly and it should be put to bed.
