OBJECTION! My bull**** is purely anti-Udina. I digs humans.

And really, I like Udina as a character, I just think he's a lousy ambassador. Also, your assertion that Udina did not lockdown the Normandy, and doesn't have the authority to do so, is flat-out wrong. This is all that I am arguing.

Perhaps I should be killed with fire or acid, such a troll am I.

Nah, what you say is true. I like Udina as a character, he is well written. And in ME 2 he certainly is the lesser evil. But sometimes his actions does make you want to punch him.

Also 7 pages on a character not tali, Miranda, Thane or Garrus ? holy s***.

 I remember Zulu_DFA from the mass effect 2 forums.  A real renegade human-supremacist kill-the-aliens earth-ascendancy terran-galactic-empire guy.   This thread doesn't surprise me.

This.

EDIT:

A good ambassador works for his
nation as much as for cooperation with other governments.
Unfortunately, Udina is purely out for his own career, only using
"working for humanity's interests" as a guise for greed, ambition, and
incompetence. He endangers the entire galaxy, suddenly deciding only
then that it was a good time to build a rapport with the Council, when
he had previously shown no interest in making any concessions to the
Council. Rather than engender cooperation with the Council over a
slightly longer period with minor compromises, he instead chose to
ground the first human Spectre just after said Spectre had made a major
breakthrough in his/her mission for absolutely no reason other than to
save face and start doing his job for once.

Udina isn't a good
ambassador. He's not even a good politician in general. He's one of the
better characters in Mass Effect, though, simply because he's so
well-written.

Agreed.

OK, Captain InternationalLawPhD, what makes you think Obama isn't just one of them (the power hungry)? His public image? A Nobel Prize?

Ron Paul is a good man and politician at the same time. That's not impossible. But since you brought him up, Obama is snake with ulterior motives.

All politicians are slimy weasels. I wouldn't expect fictional space ones to be any different.

It is pointless to discuss this with Zula. I have tried. It's funny, because there have been a couple of threads the last few days, criticizing members for being obsessed with possible romance options.

But there is no one on these boards more obsessed with a character then Zula. He loves Udina like a father. He just cannot let this argument die. He is so obsessed that he brings it from forum to forum, not even waiting for the subject to come up, but starting the threads himself.

I think he has spent more time defending Udina then I spent playing Mass Effect 1.

Well, kudos to you, Zulu. You fight the good fight. And at night, in your dreams, you hold on tight to your favorite Ambassador. Don't let anyone tell you that it's weird and wrong. You stick to your guns.

I am obsessed with Gianna Parasini. Udina I simply approve of. He is as good as Anderson in his area. And I really despise the cornballness of all these platitudes of yours like "I hate polititians", "he is a slimy weasel" and "he stabs me, the most important person of the universe, in the back" comments.

Funny it is how Anderson never makes a slightest hint that he thinks anything like that. And on occasion even defends Udina against your insinuations by telling you something like "forget it, it comes with his job", implying  that it's time for you to grow up from your boot camp panties, and adjust yourself to the rules of the Big League. But you are not learning the lesson. Not that it is unexpected.

Udina is the typical paper pushing, buricratic politician that offers nothing valid to better humanity (or any other species). I bet he even has a law degree....

Except he is absent from his office most of the time. And always excuses that he has some important meetings to attend to. However, I suspect those meetings mostly take place at Shaira's VIP lounge, but I doubt such a lady would trade a glorious turian general for Udina if he was just a lame mediocre ****** as most of his "critics" here suggest.

Its really funny though because Captain Anderson is the only person to actually hit Udina, and then I believe he says "I've been wanting to do that for a long time!" or something like that.

The Prestigous Captain Anderson is not defending Udina by saying that, and he is not implying that you get out of your "boot camp panties". He is saying this because he is mature enough and wise enough to hold back his words, and knows that speaking his mind won't accomplish anything, besides starting a petty argument.

This... is sadly true, except that he would have an honest ear and mouth for the public. I do not despise Udina, but I do not love him. Simply put, if you want a man who can increase humanitarian commerce and work with other politicians along with having a silver tongue, Udina is your man. If you want a good leader who can protect your planet and keep a good military force along with being honest, then Captain Anderson would be the best fit.

This troubles me more than it sways me to your opinion. You previously said Udina was a dedicated man, yes? Then if that is so, what is he doing in Sha'ira's VIP Lounge? Also, if you recall, the Turian General spread lies and rumors about Sha'ira. Does such a glorious "general" drink his soul away in a strip bar and spread lies and rumors?
