Well, first, think about the complaints we're already seeing regarding Morrigan's appearance from some.

Then you also have personality issues, accusations of fan service, plot direction issues, keeping the Warden awkwardly without VA issues, etc.

Basically, it comes down to this: there are some fans who would gladly ignore every issue possible, so devoted are they to the character of the Warden, but at some point Bioware has to ask the question of whether it's even worth the resources.

Well... it certain endings of Awakening, the Warden was recalled to Weisshaupt, right? And we've been speculating that the Seekers in the trailer are beseiging Weisshaupt...

And then  Witch Hunt happens 2 years after that, my Warden left with Morrigan so heh, he should make a cameo.

Absolutely. That's what is more important to me. I want answers. I want my choice to be relevant.

Warden died of the taint beyond the mirror, there you go.

Better then wasting resources on something that is not needed.

What sort of cameo? This, this, this or this?

The first is definitely possible, but its likelihood is uncertain. The second would probably require some hybridization. The third only requires some art and funding. The fourth is eminently doable.

...yeah, now I really wish they never made the Eluvian an option....which is how I feel about the Dark Ritual in general.

They adapted Morrigan, Cassandra and Varric because they knew what they looked like and were probably able to put some professional artist type people on making a passable reproduction.

Not the same as importing a whole bunch of wardens into a whole new engine and art style, potentially from races that have been quite significantly redesigned.

The only way they could get the Warden's face right would be to simply make the player do it.  And even then a lot of people would struggle to get something close enough to be acceptable to them.

You have to realize something. After dragon age origins that warden is not your character. That character is at the mercy of the bioware writers.

For you. For me, that's not the case.

And the voice thing, if its not the voice you wanted deal with it, you didn't pick your voice when you were born. :D Due to too many different race and gender variations if there was a warden cameo it would be short, but it is not impossible.

Worst compairson ever.

You think so? The Cousland Warden should have a Fereldan accent, It wouldn't make sense otherwise, the dalish warden should have the same accent as the other dalish, the dwarven warden should have the same accent as the other dwarves etc. thats how the world works. For an example a Cousland with an Orlesian accent wouldn't work.

hawk will be seen with the default face

The worst idea ever. How about you loading your save and finding your PC have switched gender, face and personality while you were not looking?..

Better bucket on a head or blurry Fade-spirit (like Malcolm) or mask - anything is better than canonizing your previous PC.

Because WE created the Warden. Many of us picture and hear our Wardens voice in our head when we pick our desired line in DAO. The Warden is not Hawke who had a set voice from the get go.

Hawke is different. Hawke has personality tracking and decisions that he made. It would be similar to an implementation of the way banter was done in the DLC. In the DLC hawke would respond to banter according his personality without user input.

This.

It's why I did the Ultimate Sacrifice; as much as I love Bioware, I just don't trust them to have character cosistancy even when they write the characters themselves (Liara, Anders etc), let alone when the character is inherited from the player.

I think it was/is more merciful for both the player and Bioware for the Warden to die some how. If not by doing the Ultimate Sacrifice, then by some other means depending on the Wardens choices.

Ran off with Zevran? Died of STDs
Queen Cousland? Died in childbirth
Leliana takes your fancy? Boom, mages assassinate you in attempts to destablize the Chantry.

etc etc

Only if we can re-create the Warden's face with the new engine and the part is a non speaking one... but really, what would be the point. The Warden's story is over, some players had their Wardens sacrifice themselves, others want them to stay in Ferelden or go on untold adventures. Bringing back teh Warden would just be more trouble than it's worth. I actually don't want to see the Warden again. Mentioning him/her is fine, but that should be it.

I'm not denying that but if people want to see their Warden, I don't think its that hard to accept. You just need measure which is more important to you. Everyone has their answer to that, and Bioware should decide whose answer they prefer and what the majority thinks (objectively speaking of course, I don't know what the majority thinks). Of course we could just see him from afar as other people said.

Great movie. The scene with Bruce climbing out of the pit where the bats fly out takes the cake for favorite scene in the trilogy.

There could be a point for those who had chosen to come with Morrigan. That choice was supposed to be significant. All the dead wardens can remain dead, and all those in Ferelden can remain unseen in Ferelden.

There are so many metaphorical concepts in that scene. It is definitely a great one. My all time scene in the trilogy has to be everything with heath in it. That performance was remarkable.

Bioware is not going to waste resources so your waifu headcanon does not get destroyed that's simply reality. Bioware does not have unlimited resources.
