What the title says. I currently about to finish up my first Insanity run, only got Derperus Headquarters and Earth left, and the one thing that's been annoying the **** out of me the entire game is that my weapons can only go up to level five. I know I have to start a NG+ for them to get to 10, but seriously... just blah. So on consoles is it possible to get my weapons up to level 10 at all without starting a NG+. Don't know about you guys, but god dam it's annoying that everytime I bring in a new Shepard I have to basically play the game twice if I want my weapons to not suck.

^Also remember to gibb yourself enough money to buy said upgrades. With gibbed, you might as well have a full armory of lvlX weapons - even the stuff you may or may not use.

Yeah, unless you saved the money. It takes tens of thousands of credits just for the IX or X upgrade on some of the weapons. I think Wraith was 30,000 for X.

You can money grind at the Armax Arena.

Also there is the gibbed editing to remove the Level V cap, but that only applies to PC players.

You can use Gibbed on Xbox saves, although it is less straightforward than on PC. Or more precisely, you have to put your save on a flash drive, then extract it to your PC with something like Modio. At that point you can edit it with Gibbed.

There are some guides floating around.

Do you know where? I have seen a gib guide, but I am interested in this Modio you speak of.  I hate getting certain weapons so late in the game like the saber and Javelin on new playthroughs.

This was from the Mass Effect 2 forums: How to mod ME2 for the Xbox 360. Not sure if it still applies to Mass Effect 3.

You can also search the Web for "mod mass effect 3 xbox 360" and see what turns up in the search results.

And here is the link to the main ME3 modding thread: Mass Effect 3 Modding Thread. There may be other modding threads.

The ME2 guide above should work for ME3.  Just use ME3 Gibbed as the save editor.
