I'm a soldier at heart, but Vanguard was admittedly the most enjoyable class for me in ME2.

I loved being the Adept (I love my Femshep in ME1, Bastion, Shotgun as bonus talent, maxed out all of my biotic abilities with careful planning) but after the combat in ME2 focuses more on weapon usage (to mostly use powers on Hardcore/Insanity requires a lot of squad usage and isn't like ME1's combat at all, which I know was done on purpose) I have changed my Femshep to a Claymore-wielding Vanguard: my love of biotic powers + my newfound love for charge (cover-based shooting gets old fast) + ME2's new combat system + awesome shotgun made for the Vanguard.

For those that this is too long to read: Vanguard, not Adept as originally planned, because of ME2's combat.
