Origins: Morrigan or Leliana ... can´t I have both?
DA2: Isabela ... really love her dialogues, when walking around with her
If you could have any ONE companion

From Origins- Alistair.
From DA2-Fenris.I would say Varric, but I'd prefer a warrior for my mage.
If I can only pick one: Alistair.

Morrigan is by far the greatest character. But her abilities in combat are questionable.
For that I would go for a dual wield rogue, Lelliana respecialized (with a mod) would be my choice since she is a better character than the rest.

Personally, I'd take Leliana across the world with me.

Yes Mrrigan is spooky and dark. But obviuosly not someone you can have as a lifelong friend. Lelliana is passionate and fiercely loyal and therefore a much better companion.
So I can see where you come from.
Ah but thinking of this makes me want to make Dragon Age into a Skyrim type game where me and Lelliana can go explore all of what Thedas (and each other) has to offer.

Like a lot of people here, I gotta go with Varric. I can imagine awesome adventures during the day and rowdy nights at the Hanged Man exaggerating the daily adventures. Varric is like the ultimate bro. He kicks ass, he cracks jokes, and he will stick by Hawke no matter what.

Sigrun. She has a really wide appreciation for the world around her, and she really develops a lovely appreciation of life after she drops the Legion of the Dead. And she's the strongest, toughest Rogue in the Dragon Age series.

Shale all the way. She was the greatest character, and great to be fighting with.
