I prefer dark-haired guys, so it was mildly frustrating that across both games they were all blonde.
I want Cullen as an LI and he is blonde as well, so is Varric if he returns as a companion, so I'm really hoping there is a new guy with black hair that we can romance.

I'd totally be down with a bisexual Varric. Him being a romance option would totally make the game for me, even if the rest was horrible.We all need more Varric in our lives.

That said, I kind of wish Valen from NWN:HoTU was a possibility, or someone like him. But Gaider already did that with Fenris, he's basically Valen turned up to twenty and far less appealing, so I doubt I'll get my wish. Frankly I just want a romance companion that doesn't require 'fixing' or 'the right woman to turn them toward the right path'. I'm sick of the cliches.
