Was anyone else shocked... I mean really perturbed, when the rogue dies after drinking the blood, and then Duncan stabs the big dumb guy? :crying:

I was getting to like those two characters, and this crazy **** just up and kills both of them, and doesn't seem to care at all.

There should have been a little more in that scene, like letting us try to stop him or something. Instead it was like, "Yeah that sucks... SO what's next?"

Hmm, I thought the performance showed he cared. I thought it was rather well acted, actually. This is the way that Grey Wardens have been chosen for hundreds of years, and death is a daily occurrence for them. I think Duncan has developed some pretty thick scar tissue at this point.

There were dialog options at the end of the scene where you could challenge Duncan on his actions. I don't know how that plays out, though, since I was running a mage, and this was my second potentially fatal test scenario this week, so my character just took it in stride.

I personally liked that scene. I play with a Daelish Elf Rogue and I saw him stab that scaredy-cat. I liked it. The guy wasn't cut for the job. That's it

That scene totally threw me off guard. My character is supposed to be a good person, yet she barely had any reaction to that event.

In fact, as far as I know, that's the FIRST TIME she's seen someone get murdered.

I really liked that two handed guy. And I thought that the stabbing was fine, but the only thing that shocked me was how quickly my charecter grabbed the challice. I mean, I was still gonna drink it anyways, but I thought I should get a "WTF" line in first or something.

Remember from the book, the calling. Duncan is fully capable of cold-blooded murder. He doesn't enjoy it, or relish in it, but he won't back down from it when he feels he has too.
