Just wondering if there's been any word on this, with the special armors being Inferno, Terminus, Collector, and Blood Dragon. A matte black collector suit would be pretty bad***...or perhaps a neon pink terminus

I think it's been said that you cannot customize the special armor sets. You can mix and match the individual pieces I believe, but you can't change any of the parts

Rather a shame. I doubt I'll be using many of them and I got Blood Dragon, Inferno and Collector's (If everything goes correctly).

The whole point of these items is they are a reward for buying the CE or placing pre-order. They are also more likely to available from the very beginning. They will be much better than basic stuff other players will start with. However with enough research 'standard' items will get equal if not better bonuses, that you can mix and much according to your taste.

Yeah I wouldnt get to held up on lack of customisation on the pre-order armours. Its guaranteed you will find something cooler looking in game which you can then spend ages customising.



I know for some they want full diversity and ability to do this. But the fact we can actually customise armour to such a great degree anyway is amazing. So a couple of items wont do it, is it really a biggy?



And anyway I dont think anyone has even mentioned (for example) that they love the Blood Dragon armour so much they wont even consider any other armours in game.

Pejot, I know that the armors are higher quality than other armors (N7) available at the beginning. I'm just wondering if the COLORS (and sheen, stripes, and camo) can be edited.



If not, no biggy, I just prefer a more synthetic looking armor rather than a biological feel, but the Collector's armor has beastly stats so...oh well.

well we cant customize the CE or the pre order armor. But i think we can upgrade them as researched upgrades apply to all armors

I believe you can with the N7 armor and most other armors you find throughout the game. But I think a Dev said that you can't make a pink Terminus armor etc.
