Just recently started playing and I am at Novaria where I had the privledge to meet Anoleis.....now most Salarians in Mass Effect so far already irritate me but this guy...he tops the cake. He is snobbish and very uncooperative. I had to be a complete jerk just to get what I wanted...

Anyone else hate this guy? Or Salarians period?

Why would he need to be cooperative. To him you are an unwanted nuisance. Noveria is supposed to have a big "Spectres not welcome" sign.

He was very welcoming when I had info he wanted though....

For that mission I just wanted the option of shooting him in the head if he didn't allow me to leave the facility. I am a spectre after all and he's stopping me from completing my mission...

My most hated NPC ever, hand's down, no compatition, makes an appearance at the very end of ME3. If I could erase that character from my memory, I would.

Second place would probably go to Saemon Havarian from BG2.

Anoleis is annoying for sure, but at least you can put him out of business.

Sure, because then you become useful to him.

Come to think of it, ME1 does have very few likeable salarians if any at all. Later in the series is another story.
