So E3 was pretty sick this year. It was great. But one of my gripes with Ubisoft's press reveal, other than how terrible that Aisha Tyler was. Is that Rainbow Six: Partriots wasn't there. Well, it's next gen and isn't dead. Awesome.

I saw it as well and i am sooo without fear now of why it has'nt being seen since VGA 2011.

Best news of E3 by a long shot!

My faith in this game seeing the light of day has being restored again!

Target gameplay

I guess that Rainbow Six Vegas was your first? Or Maybe Lockdown? Rainbow Patriots is going to be to the tactical FPS genre what Mass Effect 2 was to RPGs, you know that, right?

I'm guessing most people who think this game is going to be "good" never even touched Raven Shield or Rainbow Six 3. Its going to be the same sad story as with every Tom Clancy game these days, a ridiculous story, Call of Duty mechanics that are the "best in innovation", your typical dress like a clown customization garbage and who can forget the garbage MP servers with all the lagg and none of the support.

I really don't see what anyone finds "good" about these games anymore, Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six have become cheap copies of something else and they have been dead for ages, they don't even sell as good as they used to and I bet nobody will remember the recent Tom Clancy titles in a few years.

Exactly... these games, and most other reboots such as Thief and Tomb Raider are basically been remade by people who didn't even like the originals. They're just creating jobs for themselves off the backs of some other titles, really.

Since UBISOFT pretty much bought Tom Clancy's name, they can just use it as a label on any piece of garbage they like. Endwar, HAWX and The Division are examples of that.

Does anything ever happen on the Raven Shield multiplayer servers any more? I haven't actually played that game in years but I remember the MP being a lot of fun despite the occasional hacker or team-killer troll, and it seemed like people were still playing it even after Vegas (which I never got) came out.

The funniest was when there was just one player left on each side, and everyone who had already been killed would start changing their screen names to things like "rooftop" or "1st floor spawn point" to try to help their teammate find the other guy. Though I think a later version blocked people from doing this.

I don't think so, those game are way too old, I doubt anyone is playing them anymore and if someone is there's probably like 1 match or something every so often. I don't check but I have looked for MP matches for Chaos Theory and most of the time there are none.
