I hope the best elements of both DAO and DA2 User Interface are used in DA:I

Observe DAO Inventory UI:

Now the DA2 Inventory UI:

Notice how the beautiful and colorful journal type appearance has been swapped for a generic and muddy looking brown interface? I honestly felt the DA2 interface would have fit better in a more science fiction type game while the DA:O interface was tailor made for a fantasy setting type game.

Here is a comparison of the dual wield weapons skill tree:

DA2: http://firsthour.net...-skill-tree.jpg

I feel the DA2 interface would have been made much better had the icons been filled with the DA:O style images.

I really wish there is a return to the DA:O user interface for DA:I.

The DA2 UI was definitely ugly, but IMO it was also much less cluttered and easier to navigate. I'd want the visual style of DA:O with the ease-of-use in DA2.

I liked the art style of the ability icons in DAO, especially for spells. Lightning was pretty. xD

I totally agree with you there. Best of both worlds.

Yes it was. Going back from DA2 to DAO is really jarring!
