Yes and the same with Wrex.

. Ive just reached the conclusion that Wrex is in complete control of Tuchanka by ME3.  That way his demand for all krogan to be cured is somewhat understandable.

Not quite, she should be killed so less of her character is revealed in the course of the story. Her character wasn't decent to start with, but it just got worse over time.
