I vote Liara, but Kai Lame and Samantha Traynor come close.

EDIT- ok, since Sam Traynor doesn't really have plot armor due to never being in a dangerous situation, she kinda gets the pass.

The Reapers and AI in general. Their destiny as being superior overlords is set in stone. The whole story has an inherent bias against organic life.

Shepard.

Actually, this is one of the few games series where the protagonist can reach a critical failure in the middle of the series (Collector Base), or die in many ways in ME3, depending on the laziness of your playthrough. I think they did a decent job of making Shep pay for their mistakes.

Conrad. There is no way someone as stupid as him should be able to live so long.

Kai Leng.

Well, not really the most plot armor, but certainly the worst plot armor.

Ah, but he's not stupid. He's a scientist and expert on dark energy. Or something.

He's like an intelligent person who fell into hero worship. So it clouds his judgement. Like maybe a person you know who's fairly intelligent, but for some reason is mermerized with celebrities or athletes.

He doesn't have the street smarts. I know he's a scientist but that doesn't add to his self-preservation skills.

Liara, definitely, as she appears in all three games, is a squadmate for two (all three if you include LotSB), and can never be put in a position where she will die until the endrun, where it no longer has any significance (and you have to have a specific EMS rating that will effectively cripple or doom the rest of the galaxy).

However, there are differing degrees of plot armor. There's the kind where they are protected for story reasons (not being able to kill Saren on Virmire), where they're protected for plot reasons (why Shepard never meets with the Illusive Man in person until the finale), where they're protected by the option not existing (not being able to defect from the Alliance in ME3), and then the detrimental plot armor, the kind that gives a feeling of preferential treatment on the part of the writers, and, as a result, that writer preference makes players dislike that character - every returning squadmate has a point in ME3 where they can die, except Liara and Garrus, and Garrus at least could have been killed in the Suicide Mission. That protection makes it so that the writers use her more often because she's a guaranteed variable, but to anyone playing who is not as fond of her character, it becomes the writers shoving her on the players, at the expense of other characters who the player is more interested and invested in. That's how it's detrimental for Liara, and because of that detriment, that's why she gets my vote.

Maybe Conrad was protected by the same patron saint that protects drunks and clumsy people.

Why you say Samantha?

As for plot armor it would be smurfette

I like her, but she's unkillable unless you pick the refuse ending. Thus, plot armor.

I don't mind the idea of a consistent character like Liara. I just wish it wasn't Liara herself. Garrus would be cooler. I don't know. Just personal preference. I don't like all the emotional/cuddly/sensitive stuff that she appeals to. It's infantile, meant for younger fans at best.

That isn't plot armor. She's never put into a position where she could be killed. Liara surviving the numerous assassination attempts in LotSB is plot armor. Jacob and Grunt's survival in ME3 past their mission are both examples of plot armor. Every single one of Kai Leng's appearances involve plot armor up until Cronos.
