I use harrier with phasic ammo.

I don't use the acolyte at all; since AF drains shields and inherently keeps you alive, I find that have a quick shield fix isn't totally necessary. I'd rather run with a Talon/Executioner

She was my primary class for a while. I never used the acolyte on her; always used the scorpion. DC, fire some mines in the path of an enemy for stagger, throw for BE, reload, fire mines, AF + throw for another BE, repeat. She could lock down a corridor like a 300lbs prison guard with a nightstick, nasty ex-wife and a bad case of alcoholism.

If you want to go even more hipster you can take crussader with warp ammo and spec the fury for pure weapon damage ( i still don't know why people spec it into power damage )

I'm just terrible at switching weapons so I only equip the hurricane.

With AF drain and DC pierce... I do ok.

I use the Lancer. Sometimes CSMG. Not too fond of the Hurricrutch anymore.

Acolyte+ CSMG + Warp IV. People might say the acolyte is a crutch, but personally, I like to play classes as near to their full potential as possible.

I use the Raider or Piranha as my primary. I might bring the Acolyte as a sidearm, but it would only come out if there were Phantoms around.

Considering that being able to replenish your shields with AF is crucial for your survival I'm baffled when I see a Fury with an Acolyte as the primary (sometimes only) weapon.
