To the goon I've seen playing the fury with the widow and having spec'd completely OUT of annihilation field.. You sir (or madam) are an idiot! Never play FURY again.. EVAR!

The only weapon a FURY should ever carry is a pistol or submachine gun, for holding a power magnifier.

Balderdash.

Power dmg is useless for her anyway, and while biotic boom-booms are enough for mooks one should carry a high dps weapon (+warp ammo) to melt bosses in a hurry.

^ I agree... power damage is more important on collector adept and huntress. Fury is gun + boom booms.

I use the Eagle with the Comando package.

Seems to work well. Takes a bit longer to deal with Phantoms, but works well with everything else, even takes down an Atlas pretty quickly.

Consider... Biotic explosions scale with the level you play, they are far superior at dropping bosses than weapons fire from a non-weapon type kit (unless yer talkling guncrutch), not to mention the stagger effect.  Ever dance with a Banshee in the pale moon light?  ;)

Power damage is VERY useful, it affects any DIRECT use of dark channel, throw, and your annihilation field (not BEs of course).  Throw alone can sometimes kill a mook outright even on gold (physics damage).  Dark channel:  mark a monster, then go kill something else for a while. The power damage increase on AF will allow you to eat enemies through walls whle in cover.  Just because power damage boost doesn't affect BE doesn't mean it's not important.

Warp ammo can be a buff in a pinch sure, but unneccessary.  I can run with only permanent gear (commando) and top the boards in GOLD and PLAT... Particularly useful when PUgging (no gear wasted should the match go sideways).

The focus of the class should be generating max BE per second.  Come play with me, you will see (public profile.. xbox).

Always been a fan of the Talon on the rare occasion I use the Fury. I figure she works best close range so might as well take a light-weight wannabe shotgun into the fight.

The hurricane smg is a gun I like to use only on a few of the classes. The recoil is too much of a bother otherwise.

I use Acolyte on so many classes, mostly as backup, and sometimes I want to go with something else.
For Fury, Talon comes to my mind first. Executioner second.

Da fuq? You can run the Fury with an 80% cooldown, take force and dmg over recharge speed in the 6th evo for throw, and still have a recharge speed under 2s. If you take the 6b evo, the Throw recharge is 1.5s. And besides, there's plenty of high dps shotty's or AR's that will give you a much faster cooldown than that.


Trust me, I have no trouble setting off constant boom-booms.

lets play platinum while you don't use any gear outside your commando package. I guarantee it will be embarrasing

Reegar carbine... Very synergous on her. Spec into recherché +60% on rank 6 throw. Still can walking bomb mooks, and use warp ammo with reegar to lolls bosses with ahniliation field debuff. Very very strong

Executioner with extended barrel and power amp. Throw on disrupt or or phasic ammo. That pistol one shots every mook in the game and really hurts others. The amp rocks DC and cool down is no problem.

Doesn't really matter what you take when it's a pistol or smg, the point of packing those is for the power damage amps; personally I rock her with a hurricane/geth scanner and just go crazy.

this. CSMG is better than hurricane on this class. Gives you a bit of range that you don't otherwise have. If you're close enough to use hurricane effectively, you might as well make a BE. 

I used to not play with acolyte, but now I'd never not use it. I can literally kill 4 phantoms in 6 seconds.

If I'm playing with PUGs in platinum, I use the CSMG+Acolyte because of Phantoms (and I always host my lobbies).

Outside of that, I use whatever I feel like using...usually the Talon.
