So a while back, with a bit of measuring the light meter, I found 6 different faces in the form of Tattoos on Subject Zero's back, who from now on we might as well start referring to her as Jack.

So each face seems to almost Deteriorate, Face #5 seeming like what I'd imagine Jack to look like before all her experiments.

They said that for every kill she has a tattoo, but For these, I don't think they're her victims. I think it's almost a diary of self transformation.

What are you speculations/thoughts?

Oh, when referring to faces, it'd be helpful to say #whichever one you're talking about

I do believe they are of her as well. She looks sad in #1...angry in #2. It could be that these reflect some of the emotions she's felt throughout her transformation.



#6 is the most interesting one. It's very different from the rest.

Speculation Evidence that Subject Zero = Jack

•   In the Cast Reveal , Courtney Taylor's   Signature is for a character named "Jack" that happens to have a skull 'n' cross bones next to it
• Listen to Courtney Taylor's Voice from Mass Effect 2 and from a commercial she did here:

• The Tour of the Normandy reveal video, we see a codex update telling us where to pick up Jack
• The ME2 OST lists a Character Theme as "JACK" next to the other known Squad Members' themes

No, I see it too.   I wonder if that has significants or is just a stylistic choice.

It also looks like she has a black-eye in #6.    She could have been a victim of abuse or tortured at one point ...

It's possibly short for 'Jackelyn'.

The gender of names is for all purposes, completely irrelevant to this. While some would think Sasha is a girls name, my friend from St. Petersburg is named Sasha where it is a very normal male name

I rather like her having a name that's not so directly feminine. Her character, and a name like "Kimberly" just don't go well, call me crazy

What if they're not her, but other people that suffered through the same experiments that made her what she is? Maybe it's her way of remembering the ones that didn't survive? Would explain why one of them kind of looks like an Asari.

I can see the facial features, but it's not a clear and distinct as the other so it's hard to tell with certainty.

here is a very far out concept, but suppose jack is "made" and not born. suppose that she was made piece by piece from the women whose faces are on her arms.
