Yeah, if you could do that, you'd solve the whole premise of the conflict. One reason why the reapers do what they do is because they're too stupid to recognize the amount of physical and psychological suffering they've inflicted (over eons at that). If they want to gain "understanding" so badly, they need to learn what it's like to get kicked in the balls. They don't even understand what it's like for a child to fall and scrape their knees. The worst possible entity to run a galaxy.

I would use an anti-matter bomb, a special weapon developed by the ultra-corporations on noveria for their own defense. From what I hear, it was quite effective in practically bringing the planets invasion to a screeching halt, until the reapers sent more forces there.
