To clarify, from the Catalyst's perspective, it's being violently spaghettified. Absolute, certain death. But from your perspective, it seems as if it lingers over the the black hole forever. The intense gravity at the event horizon gives the impression of time having stopped there. In reality, the Catalyst was destroyed the moment it crossed the horizon.

I suppose then it is simply a regular, happy reminder of what happened to the Glowjob.  In other words, it is the thought that counds.
