I hope your still accepting character submissions any queries and I'll answer them
Name: Rob
Race: Human
Age: 37
Gender:  Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Anything Special?: Biotic. (rarely used. doesn't like relying on 'superpowers'), War Dog companion (Unnamed). explosives expert
Family: none
Likes: explosives. big guns standard issue rations
Dislikes: Drell Salarians Asari (too squishy). Ravagers.
Personality: gruff and uncompromising Rob only holds respect for himself and his dog. prone to excessive violence over ridiculous thing he is an unpredictable leader to follow but loyal to a squad if they stick around long enough.
History: a mercenary since he was young Rob has traveled all over the galaxy running with various merc groups. having discovered an admiration for the krogan fighting style he keeps things simple, close range, and dead. Although not an alliance marine he is currently acting like on to get to the next big challenge..... the Reapers
RP Sample:

Rob looked through his scope at the open area below him. He reached for another ration but before he could take a bite. A whine got his attention.
“What?” he said looking at his companion. The dog flicked its ears. “Fine. Here, enjoy.” He broke a bit off and gave it to the canine. Looking back through the scope he caught movement.
“Husks. A pack of 'em, moving…… no, chasing.” he zoomed in “Turian.” There was a blue flash “and a biotic at that. Not worth rescuing.” He looked to the dog as it uff-ed quietly “What? She’s a lost cause. If I get there in time she’ll still be wounded, a drain on supplies.” He declared, dismissing her. Still he looked through the scope again.
“Correction, female Turian” more blue flashes “Putting up a good fight too.” He shook his head and continued to narrate. “She should use one big push, not lots of little ones. Pfft amateur.” Now he could hear her screaming for help. It was a very familiar scream.
He looked to his dog who cocked his head. “Fine, I’m going. Stupid conscience.” he grumbled he picking up his modified shotgun. “Stupid morality.” Picks up some breaching charges. Always handy. “Stupid redemption. Stupid fringe face.” He went in a jog to get out of the building and a run to get to the fight and finally sprinted into the fray.

also an example of temper flare.

They had made it through the hole in the wall Rob was the last one through. but the husks had hold of one of his legs. His face contorted momentarily.
" the f*** just bit me" he exclaimed when they finally pulled him through. the offending husk was close behind. "Come here you horrid little s***. he yanked the husk through the hole and proceeded to stomp it to jelly while swearing at it. "you f****** little f*****!" he grunted out between stomps. "you just think, you can bite my leg, while I'm escaping your trap? i don't f****** think so this is my goddamn planet. And . Your. Not. Welcome. Here." By now the husk was less jelly and more of a kind of paste.
Rob looked at his gobsmacked squad. " What?" he demanded "Never seen a man stomp a husk to death before?" the squad remained silent. "Right then. Everyone accounted for? No mortal wounds? No? Then lets move princesses."

I'm going to have to take some time to consider Wylds response to the development between Zia and Naomi. I can't quite seem to find the right tone for her reaction.

This happened before with the dispatcher. He was angry. Wyld was angry. The scene fell flat because one was empowered and the other not.

Then twisted it so that the dispather was the face of reason and Wyld just wanted to know what was happening. That swtich made the scene work alot better.

Haven't quite found the right tone for Wyld yet. I'll work on it.

@rogo95: FavoriteH is the guy to ask. If he approves, you will have the first official pet!

@Redbelle: I don't know, but it is definitely an opportunity to keep defining Wyld's character. You've got a multitude of reactions and I imagine each can be a chance to lead to fun things later.

I could tell you how Rea would react. But she's not there...;)

Thus far I've got shock.... but that makes Wyld seem a little possessive.

I've got denial.... "She's only kissing the naked lady because she doesn't want her to blow us up..... wish I'd thought of it".

I've got ignoring it. But that doesn't play to her sense of desperation in finding someone to keep her out of watering holes. And fights with gang lords.

And I've got being the consumerate pro who is trying to keep her head despite everything going on and just want's to get Zia alone so they can 'talk'. An aspect of Wyld that Zia loves and hates because talking seems to get them into bigger fights eventually than just getting on with it.

Basically. Naomi has emerged with awe inspiring Biotic powers with no training on how to control them and Zia see's her need for a trainer while also finding someone who wants her.

In Zia's world, Wyld just got shunted to the bottom of the pile and Wylds pride is gonna be wounded when she eventually works that out. Which doubly sucks because her inner crone looks to have gotten it right when she said Wyld would never find love.

Which she knows she's not supposed to find, but Zia's awakened that aspect of her at the worst possible time.

I think Wylds going to come away the worse from this one when the cards are put on the table.

Ooooh. Well, aw, we'll now I feel bad for Wyld. But you know....fast girls ;)

Actually, I know not nearly enough about Zia to say anything, but I gotcha on Wyld's character. Gonna not be boring, that's for sure! And with Furious Felicia back, I'm looking forward to the 'other' side of this story too.

But congrats on keeping this entertaining.

Damn Red you realy can't disappoint. You're scene of Zia trying to control Naomi's biotic outburst is something I amagined just as you described it..in fact I was preparing for it myself. You did it just as I had pictured it..
Man I really have a hard job now.

One suggestion...you should put all of the characters info in the group discussion - character backgroung..easier to find...also I'll probably write Naomi's now that she is definitely alive and staying for good..

New post up.

Wyld, Zia and Naomi have escaped the Hotel_it_ and have found refuge in a new camp known as Bastion.

But the new Zia and Naomi love dynamic has not gone down well with Wyld who through Zia liked her. She's been as stoic as she can. But she's having a repeat episode of her depression that she had to work through the day she lost her legs and found she'd never dance again.

All of which resulted in her finally losing it once she'd gotten everyone to the camp.

Because she's now battling the notion that the whole universe keeps using her for a punching bag.

And to add insult to injury. She's just been arrested on the order's of Captain Radcliffe, who you may remember, was the man, whose Mako's she ran over with the Valkyr, and destroyed the Mako's communication array.

Thus giving all the soldier's in the field some peace and quiet.

And on another note. My spell checker has died.

I'm so sorry now when I saw how Wyld feels. I'm gonna try and sort out that a bit ;)
Side note: In Zia's defence, it's not entirely true that Jan means nothing to her..

Oki doki.

But Wyld's going to be in lockdown for a bit. And Radcliffe needs to have a chat with her. So if there's going to be any talking, it'll have to be in the brig.

Incidently, try and keep Zia's uniform top from riding up when Naomi pulls down the front. Otherwise strawberries will be accompanied by peach.

Definitely take care of yourself! Glad to hear your are coming out of it.

@Redbelle, did you mean camp Bastion to be the place where you could leave off Zia and let FuriousFelicia take her back over? You said 'final' and I didn't quite know what that meant. I don't think that the underground part is nearly resolved enough yet to get to camp Bastion...that may be obvious or not, just wanted to mention if it wasn't.

At Furious Felicia. Nice to see you back writing!

Bastion is the place where I handed off Zia to Furious. It provides all the sceneary needed to rebuild Noami back into a solider while getting a handle on being a biotic. While also allowing Furious to set up his own direction for the characters without being dragged along by mine.

One of the reasons Wyld went into Lockdown. To pull her influence out of the narrative, That and Radcliffe's not happy she dinged his Mako.

Sounds like you've been accepted to me.

One thing though. Find and join 'the best RPG group ever'. It's the place to go for more info and discussion on how to bring two character's together.

Or just a place to discuss character settings.

etc etc. So if you have question's you might find some answers.

But for now. My advice is write a piece to acclimitise your character to the settings. We've already got some places that he can pop in. Or you can write your own.

And perhaps the best rule to note when writing for this RPG event. Have fun while you do it.

Look forward to seeing your first post!

@Rogo
Wow nice. Didn't think anyone would be interested to cut in at this point.
@Kel
Tnx it's nice to be writing again..although it took a while for my brain to adapt :)
I think Bastion is a great place for our heroes to meet. I have a ton of stuff in mind, and it all takes place at the camp so you'll have enough time to catch up.
Just one wish...please don't kill Rea ;)

Oh, FF, I don't, but things are going to be hard for her, for now...She's not going to get out of the underground on her own, probably.

But I have a feeling she's going to make it ;)

Posting in the group two things to talk about: Roles we see our characters fulfilling in the overall story arc, and....an idea for naomi (or alternatively, some other way to deal with the dum dum dum, processor...)

Apologies but I have to bow out for the foreseeable, RL stuff. Sorry I hadn't kept you all updated but I've just not the time/will at the mo.

And, oh! You're going underground? I'd considered that. Hmmm, which station would it be...?

Edit: apparently t'would be either Charing Cross or Embankment underground stations.

Thanks, previous illustrators, for opening the door to posting my amateur art. Also, regarding FF's last installment, LOL! Yeah, Redbelle, didja think of that?!

@Stoob: No probs. Come back if your RL stuff gets resolved. We may still be going...

Hope you make it back one day.

I was looking forward to giving Baldurjack some Simpson time.

Alas. The most I've been able to get out of that is that Wyld can never remember Aria's name.

Rea has a face of a Justicar :)

Guys I've made an error in my last post pointed out to me by Redbelle. I will edit it as soon as I get home from work.

@Redbelle what a coincidence couse you've done the exact thing back when you took over Zia and Naomi :D
Only yours is irrelevant
