It's all software and she has images recorded by the helmet. So she has Zia's face and general body measurements.

She could look like Zia but only the person with the helmet could see her.

Mother's creation occured when Gizmo used a magic McGuffin to turn a VI into an AI and took his first request to guide it's personality and motivation's.

Gizmo said he wanted his Momma after he'd been seperated from his real mother and ran away from the falling Reaper ships.

So the AI took on the personae of Gizmo's mother.

It's not easy. But there are various character archetypes that I draw upon. In the beginning I kind of let the chips fall where they may. Then they take on a life.

Naleena was more or less planned. There was a connection with a fan fiction I wrote already. I've already written Marisa Soniri. Retained by Liara T'soni, she represented Shepard at the Arrival Inquest. Easy connection. Kept it in the family.

So in reality is she any worse than Jack? After all she spared the prostitutes' life during that Turian's assassination simply by invading her mind and making her forget. She goes after her target and avoids collateral damage whenever possible (the guards were expendable).

And in the end Shepard killing 300,000 batarians made no difference, did it? No one did anything in those six months except Cerberus. Oh yeah, Liara went to Mars. How can I forget.

And Naleena's body count is nowhere near that, and none of them were innocents, trust me.

The plan is Khal does the short section for A.Q. next.

Then I do the next section for the squad which I've already written, but won't post until Khal's piece about A.Q. is up.

I just can't imagine what these Asari smell like right now. They'll probably attract flies. And you know the topside group will be giving them a wide berth, and at least trying to stay up wind. Have you ever smelled a truck from a rending plant? It's an instant gag reflex.

There were a couple of other people who have joined later and I was actually already expecting them to leap in with their approved characters.

Yes, Mr. Stoob actually put a post up a while ago explaining that he had over committed to his creative projects so was putting his character Elaine by the wayside for the foreseeable future. He's around doing other stuff and you can see him posting here. But he gave a heads up and Elaine, Grelk and crew are somewhere on the surface fighting the Reapers.
