You know favhook...I've been meaning to ask you how you got to me in the first place. Till then I only roamed the multiplayer forum, and then your PM comes to my inbox.
What made you pick me? Btw I've never done this before

Well, I just started pming and commenting on random people's profiles. At first the idea of this RPG was just a little game hopefully a few people would join and play and we would write posts back and forth. I never freaking imagined that like, 8 writers would join and make this RPG as epic as it is. Not complaining, though.

Well, I blame a Gerry Anderson and his Thunderbird's for my love of spectacle and machines that do things.

Followed up by Tom Clancy who has a light touch on character, but a knack for bringing to life event's. Whether they are armies charging or electron's shooting down a telephone line.

Which reminds me....... Pepper should be done laying out the telephone cables by now. Radcliffe and the heads of department should be able to start talking to each other at dedicated terminals.

Dibs on Pepper for a conversation about fixing Gunships before the next big project! I mean, come on, we've got some legends to build up here...

Pepper's a free agent. He'll grumble but he'll get the job done.

Mostly he just mutter under his breath that his names not Pepper. But Wylds name for him seems to have stuck

It's his salt and pepper hair you see.

Well I just put up a little more back story on Our Sarge... while we're waiting on Kham to do AQ's part before I post my grand finale down there. It's burning a hole in my hard drive.

I just did a quick one. Before I continue I would like to know are the gunships inbound to Bastion, and if yes, has the camp been informed?

Vega ran into the briefing room. "We kneecapped a Reaper people! Boom! Straight through and Balm! It got away but I gotta tell Loco. Where is he"?

Liara sat on a crate that jumped and shudderd. Someone seem to be knocking from the inside while muffled cries came from within. Liara looked up innocently. "Shepard, who"?

This long.

Shepard's not going anywhere till he's needed.

It's ok. Liara's in on it too.

I think we are at the stage where Shep is on Earth. The Citadel is in Earth's orbit and Vega's bounding around shooting Reaper's with gunship support

I hear all sorts of things like a matter of hours to a matter of a day or so.  But I think what RedBelle is hinting at is that we are taking some artistic liberty with that timeline.  Our Boss FavoriteHookeratTheCitadel says stick to the lore, so basically as long as we don't run directly counter to any lore, I think it is okay.

Good thing is the lore basically doesn't exactly say.  We simply know that from the time Shepard lands on Earth until the time he rides the beam to the sky, it is night time.

@Furious Felician.  Basically the Gunships are on their way.  I'll write a piece today that has them get there so you can do what you want with them.

(Points up)

What he said.

Essentially, until such time as the writer's of this rpg group decide, we can do what we like provided we do not do something like, say, kill Shepard with a falling piano and take his place as the person leading the charge....... which I was totally not considering.

At the present time we have groups of character's who have not been positioned to commence a beam run.

For that reason I wrote in Camp Bastion, as a place where people could gather. And put out Mako's who could communicate and receive information from any group.

The Reason why no one can contact Bastion directly is that the last time camps directly communicated with anyone, Reaper ships landed on them.

And at this point, I think that people still have alot they want to do with their characters. I figure once they figure they want to begin the beam run phase we'll gather at Bastion. And if everyone hasn't had time to gather, then there's plenty of stuff to do in Bastion.

I think we're also asking ourselves if we want to do Shepard's beam run. Or have a second run after Shepards. The reason being is that to remain true to lore, Shep is the only one to make the run.

A second run after Shep's means we can tailor such a run to allow our character's and our army greater leeway in what happens.

Then there's stuff to do on the Citadel.

Hands up who want's to grab Kelly Chamber's and get her to an escape pod?

Or fight alongside Bailey as he holds REaper force's back from a pocket of citadel survivor's?

Or ind out how successful that citadel militia was in having an effect on stopping the Reapers from invading all section's of the station?

Or the fate of the council?

Or that Dr Michael's in Huerta Memorial?

Or something original?......

The point is, the battle for London is our playground until such time as we organise to do the beam. And thus far the stories coming out of all our writer's are to compelling to call time on them.

There's a lot to consider on the second beam run, but it leads us to have some more fun when otherwise we would be done.

On the first beam run, even if Shep is the only one to make it, there's no saying that other troops didn't moved in and were blocked (at least temporarily), but survived. After all, Shep's crew are all there at the end, you know...that magical Normandy somehow got them all without getting shot. So while they didn't make it into the beam, they obviously lived. And you know, there's all the mooks who 'almost' get killed by the Reapers on Earth before your favorite color comes cascading down from the sky to stop the Reapers in their tracks.

Yeah, so we have leeway. The trick is to have all the action take place in what would be a believable time frame for the Battle of London...yah? At least that's my thoughts.

The speech Shepard never gave to the troops.
