Anyhow. I'm liking how Steiner and Babylon are shaping up. Forced together and seperated by circumstance. Steiner will need to fleshing out later. But right now, Babylon's the one who needs some attention. Our little election supervisor needs her moment to shine. And what better way than to have a nice walk through enemy territory that may or may not be screened by Mako's with a commander she just met while leaving the one she's been grooming behind........

........Yep..... She's strategising now the game appear's to have changed.

On another topic, if I had time for multiple characters, I'd write more Farzam and Dale, and gunship stuff. I'd probably also add a new character beyond that. And had ideas for units, etc.....

If rogo keeps going or Desio, I might create something to interface with whatever they are up to. Don't want to steal the thunder from a main character. I'm just saying I'm all inspired by RedBelle and Shotgun J going with multiples and I'm a little jelly too!

*edit* Actually, thinking ahead. I'm going to have to create character's for the Misfit's and bunker aren't I....... Well, I already have an idea who the queen's going to be.

It's no good. I have to kill some. Radcliffe can live. The rest will have to be put up against the wall.

Actually, people like Pepper can live. He's support. He's just there in case someoe need's something built so he can complain about building it while providing a father figure to Gizmo. Momma's a handy device for getting the Valkyr about without a driver while she compares motherhood to Jan's leadership style.

And I did say I was going to have a vote off at some point to see who dies. Steiner or Babylon...... I haven't decided not to do that yet.....

Need Michael's as a face man for the Mako's......

But I bet Rothan is really glad I didn't write that "a bullet ripped through" or "his suit got caught on a sharp rock and ripped open" while we were in that crap. Rothan would be dead from infection. In fact I think the entire group could use a good strong injection of a broad based antibiotic. Goddess knows what the hell was floating in that mess. Any wound was a death sentence.

Well the Valkyr's still knocking around with a case of medical supplies for all species and a group of wounded soldier's. Their waiting to be picked up by Michael's in the Mako.

With my Multi's, I try to keep them in one place too.

Except, the multi's who are in support roles who roam free as nature intended. As long as they are allowed to remain where they are, doing their jobs, then they can be interacted with freely.

Kinda like written RPG NPC's.

Go for it. I would get lost if I had to manage more characters. SgJ and Red are masters at this game, but I can see you pulling it off as well.

Well, Steiner's a commander. And Wyld's a commander.

And Babylon's a spin doctor on an election trail it seems. Who has lost one commander and now has another.

Are we about to see Babylon become an even bigger ass than Steiner?

Only time will tell.

Which may take awhile because I picked up X-Comm declassified and am about to save the world from Aliens.... I hope.

I'm dredding another Catalyst moment tbh.

Well the good news is that The Bureau is not disapointing now it's gotten into full swing.

The bad news is that it's taking up writing time away from what happened when Wyld and Babylon decided to go on a hike together. If it help's. Imagine them merrily skipping along a bombed out yellow paved bypass singing. "We're off to kill the Reaper's...."! In technicolor!

Yes, I plan on writing something soon! I do want to wait for kham and FF for their parts...though I could write about Dale in the meatime. Or the evil Reaper who just got up. We shall see....

But since I predict Kham and FF will write relatively soon, just putting this here to say there won't be a wait much longer either way. No Bureau will get in my way!

Nice work Red. I must admit, at first I was a bit unsure of the idea about factions. I figured, why would people be fighting anything but the reapers. The idea of military factions just seemed a bit unreal.

But when you think about it, most of the Earth's population never even saw a reaper before or reaper ground forces. And after all we are talking mostly civilians here. It makes sence that in all that chaos and fear, they would be suspicious to anyone they encounter. Most evidently the Turians who can be easily mistaken for Marauders.

If you decide to go with Dale, it will be a nice opportunity for you if you're still keen on multiple characters. Dale is supposedly in the 'Pub', an excellent place for interesting people to interact. I had ambitious plans for the pub but didn't have the chance to write about it yet.

Let me know what you've decided so we can exchange a few ideas

The other mechanic at play, is that people have convinced themselves that this bunker is a safe zone. A place the Reapers will not come because no one knows of it. Worked for Javik..... sort of.

There are alot of motivation's at play in this. With the Tea-ef on one side. Babylon having her own motivation's that are related to, but not in line with the Tea-ef. The Misfit's who just want to live and will do it by taking what the tea-ef have. Steiner who clearly has a chip on his shoulder about something.

And at the centre of it all. Wyld.

This is going to require careful negotiation....... Or an insane gamble.

But I'm going to need to get Wyld to the bunker first....... I bet she's really missing Bucky about now.

Great work Kel. I love the way you described the atmosphere and Sid is just what I had in mind, even the name is perfect. The boom at he end is an also nice detail. It seems natural that Dale would go and investigate what happened.

@FavoriteH....you do that college thing and enjoy it!  If you find yourself suddenly without something to do, which will be nearly impossible I realize, throw up something on our favorite krogan!

I'm tempted to do some short's of character's to give a flavor of where they are and what they are doing. Make a change from all these looooong posts that keep going up.

@Kel Alas. I may have to change my plans for Baldurjack now I know what treasures lay behind those doors. But that would mean pulling another character out of the dugouts and into the game. I'm going to be up to my eyeball's if I don't manage them.

Also.

Babylon has a Han Solo moment of walking into a room full of stormtroopers. And yes. She shot first.

lol. I'm sorry the pub is so tempting. Of course, you could just, you know, get back to camp with your new entourage! I know, I know, it is going to take some time now....
